That's just different looking armour as opposed to a new and improved armour.

Not sure why this has turned into an armor thread, but consider that certain types of armor will be unlocked as you progress through the campaign (confirmed by Bungie.) Now consider that they have not shown all types of armor that will be on the game (also confirmed by Bungie.) Consider, also, that at some point MC will be entering the Ark, a massive stronghold against the Flood (confirmed by leaked achievements/campaign names, not to mention you see him standing outside the thing in practically every trailer thus far.)

If there were anywhere a Class XII armor permutation could be found, it would be in the Ark. In Campaign. Where the armor permutations are being unlocked. The only showstopper here is whether the Forerunner would be similar enough to human for us to wear their armor--but speculation runs that they might have been human/human-ancestor.

Just a little conjecture on my part.
