leader+meg=couple(meg is spy at unicom for the rebels)

sophie+ron=couple(thought ron was dead but he came back and hot pockets make him sick?)

and now after last nites chat we learned of the "hive" another unicom rebellion group with not so many members left after unicom cleaned them up i asked sophie if we could talk to one of them she said "probably"

also ben was a rebel who got found out? my question is how/who sold him out i asked everyone at chat last nite but no one(leader,meg,sophie,ron) would answer me and also we have to wait to atleast monday for direction they to have to plan the escape....atleast they let us know when there not ready.........

Smooth, if you are using Firefox, do a google for a plugin called "chatzilla". Dload & install it, then click on any of the links listed for irc://moznet/shroud. It doesnt get much easier than that. If you are not using FF, then my suggestion would be to start by dloading it, because its much more secure than IE.

ok i dl'd mIRC and went thru the install. When it asked me what channel i wanted i inputted irc://moznet/shroud im in a room now and it says

Alright people, for those of you who werent able to be in the #shroud chat room last night, you guys missed alot. I figured the events that unfolded needed explaining to the new people (or ones who werent there).

This is all pretty confusing so for the people who were there last night, if I made a mistake or mixed something up/left something out please feel free to correct me..

Ok here goes.. (pray!)

- We enter the chat, see Leader, and meet Meg Adams, girlfriend of Leader. Meg is a spy lodged deep within Unicom (shes also pretty rude too, right Mcgritts?)

- Leader decides that in order to break Ben out of the Compound, we need some sort of a distraction. The shift change for Compound employees is at 6pm, so if we were going to break Ben out, it would have to be around then.

- We decided that, seeing as though UniCom is currently monitoring Ben Smart's Email address, we could use that to our advantage. We sent out a "fake" Email out to all the so-called "rebels" (us) and purposely added bens address. This email said that we would be breaking Ben out and would be meeting at a fake place, at a fake time. Knowing that UniCom would be sending their personel to this location, it left us a gap in time where the Compound would be vulnerable.

- Suddenly, a UniCom UniBot enters the chat room. It sort of caught us off guard but we refrained from mentioning anything to do with our plan and it left soon thereafter.

- Unibot enters the chat again, and after recording our names, it delivers a message from the CEO of UniCom. He stated that we are all as good as dead and that Ben has been killed. (of course we didnt believe him). During this message, we learn Leaders name is Scott Shroud.

- Moments later, Meg is teleported to the Compound by UniCom. This leaves Scott (Leader) extremely broken and he wanted to give up.

- Thanks to some quick motivational speaking, we were able to get Scott back on his feet with a renewed sense of purpose. He made the decision that we needed to operate Ben's time machine, so that he could go back to the date of October 1st, 2050. By going this far back, it gives him plenty of time to stop the disaster about to befall the MS Tower on 10.20.

- In order to operate the time machine, though, we need another code to allow it to exit "pre-boot". Only Ben knew this code, so this posed a problem.

- Ben suddenly enters the chat room (user name encoded) and gives us his exact location in the compound, and also gives us an encoded version of the startup code for his device.

- Grendl gives one version of the code, and Scott tries it. It works. It says in 3 hours the device will be operational (10pm EST)

- Unfortunately, UniBot enters again, now kidnapping Scott and Sophie, leaving us alone.. confused... and scared ()

- With perfect timing, the Shroud rebels attack the UniBot on route to Compound, freeing Sophie and Scott, unharmed.

- Soon after, Meg and Ben managed to kill the power in the Compound, allowing them to escape, as well as bringing down the Compound from 120 feet in the air.

- When Meg returns to the chat room, she tells us she overheard that UniCom is going to use a device that Sophie (unknowingly) programmed, to implode the entire city (I forget when the CEO planned on doing this, can anyone help me out there?).

- We meet back up at around 10:30pm and find out that Scott, Ben, Meg and Sophie will be using the device to go back, altogether.

- While we are discussing the dangers of this machine with Ben, they start to hear sirens. Its UniCom coming for them. Scott quickly pulls the lever and all of a sudden they all leave the chat room.

- Moments later, "Leader" (not the user name: Scott) enters the room, along with Meg. Both have absolutely no idea who we are.

- We realize that instead of Shroud getting sent to 10/01/2050, WE got sent there instead.

- Soon thereafter, we got an email from (10/19) Scott saying when he pulled the lever, nothing happened and they are still in the same spot. We tried to reply to him, but have yet to hear back from him. (I think we must have gotten the mail, right before we time traveled).

- After a while of convincing, we finally got Scott and Sophie to believe us. I then decided that we needed to continue the plan.

- I asked Sophie if she had programmed the imploding device for UniCom yet. She told me they had asked her, and that she was supposed to answer them tomorrow (which would be today). Perfect.

- I then told her she needed to accept, but to make sure to sabotage the imploding device so that when the timer hits zero, nothing will happen.

- I asked Scott to make sure Meg, Ben and Ron are on board and believe what we say. They trust him, so i figured he was the best person to explain this all to them.

- We agreed to meet back up in the same place at 10pm (EST) to discuss our next move. Hopefully all went well with Sophie and the machine is now sabotaged.

phew, that was tough. ok like I said, feel free to correct me, because since there wasnt a chat log, I had to record all of this from my own memory alone. How'd I do guys?? Add or fix things as you wish... ok people good luck and see you tonight at 10pm EST... SHARP!

good job Smooth....megs just crappy thats all..(idiot?) just one thing.. does the 19 day thing still stand? or is it when sophie doesnt program we save the day.......?
