Found ? Overnight? Who really knows? I hope the movie is called Tronzilla:
Lions avenge the death of cthulu, who was lost and then found overnight. Best. Title. Ever.

I tend to agree with Zap...

JJA said it himself, he felt we needed our own monster. Trying to think of this plot as if it had alread occured in our real world, after the devestation and aftermath people would start giving the creature names. A good example is Bigfoot. All be it a retarded name, it was given to the "creature" based on physical apperance. I would expect a name for the monster to be in the film towards the end of the movie. Just my thoughts on it all...but who really cares! Very Happy

Real Title Found and it's not monstrous

"FOUND"

In Slusho history at the slusho! site count the words from the end of the history. Do not count the slogan(you can't drink just six) but start at the last word which is Slusho! Remember to count hyphenated words as one. The 108 th word is FOUND!!!

Maybe that is why it is japanese so you read from the end instead of the beginning because after all THE BEGINNING IS THE END.

Reason #5

The sites -abramsfound.org, abramsfound.net, abramsfound.com has recently been registered but before the trailer came out.

I think MONSTROUS on the poster looks more like a tag line than a title.

So these are my reasons for my theory on the title being "FOUND"
I think it might be a little cheesy myself but check out the clues yourself such as the one in the slusho! site.

What does the 108th word have anything to do with it?
The Begginning is the End is from Ethan Haas, which, again, has been proven to have nothing to do with the movie.

108 is all over Abrams projects, it's like a lucky number to him.
Even look at 1-18-08.

As for me putting in the Ethan Haas thing it was a little joke, but my point was to read from the back to the front, that could be why there is all the Japanese stuff on the site to point you in that direction.

No one has considered the obvious

This is my very first post here, but I've been lurking for a while. (I only signed up yesterday, and now I am QUITE glad I did, because I BELIEVE I can shed SOME light on the odd caps in the letter.

See what I did there? It's not unusual for people to caps words they want to emphasize. I don't think it's a clue or anything like that, I think he just capsed (is that even a word?) it instead of using *found* or found etc. I do it all the time when I'm IMing or emailing.

It's entirely possible who knows, but one thing is for sure coming from Abrams there are real clues out there and we just have to find them. And just like your capitalized words seemed out of place so did abrams words stuck OUT like a sore thumb.

Personally, I think the movie would be really cool if it was nothing more than the short stories of a bunch of different people leading up to the mass destruction of some crazy monster. Even if we only saw the monster for a few seconds it would be super cool. Remember Signs? That was pretty freaky and we only saw the aliens for about 30 seconds throughout the entire movie.

Well if he did include clues in the email, I would like to assume they'd be Subtle. Capsing (again, !word) isn't.

I don't see "108" anywhere in "1-18-08". I see 118, 180 and 808, but I don't see 108 anywhere.

Seriously...?
4 8 15 16 23 42 - Lost Numbers = 108
1/08 - Month of Movie
Its just his number...Apparently Bungie has something with it to if you are following the IRIS Arg...Anyway Im guessing he's right on the money...I was thinking it could be found because of LOST and it would be a spoof name...So yeah very nice thinking and speculation but I think its real...Bravo Laughing

About that whole Colossus name thing...

The Colossus of Rhodes was seemingly destroyed by an earthquake.
In the trailer they talk about what seems to be an earthquake...

I dunno, just something I noticed.
