Rent-a Clown

so the site's been updated with a mock "rent-a-clown" advertisement.

I believe there's something else hidden on the site; not sure what though.

It sure has been updated. I wanted to get in on the game originally, the site was bogged down and too slow, so by the time I read all the messages to get caught up it was over. While reading all the messages I bookmarked all the relevant pages, and now all my numerous bookmarks go to the rent-a-clown site. I think there is more to it. I don't think it is just a "bookmark of clown faces" until December. They would need more than that to keep the people interested.

I see what you mean. It does look like something, but when I blew it up I am not able to tell what it is if anything. I examined it larger in my computer, and still can't tell.

Edited: deleted photo attachment - my attachment allotment was filled up

The intertron tells me that the clown belly jumper has net around the sides so whatever you're seeing is behind it. Could be scenery that has been cropped from around the sides....

Interestingly the background on the Joker's is the exact opposite (color-wise) of the background on the one on this page:

http://www.partypop.com/Vendors/4048574.htm

From the angle of the shot and the angle of the clown's head, I'm sure this is the same pic. The only question is - what's with flipping the background colors?

edit - the image seems to get borrowed a lot. There's even an ebay auction using the exact same picture

We've been left with the cryptic message "See you in December", and the movie's release date ins't until next summer.

Jeezus!

That makes the old 8/1/07 deadline look like a day or two....

Where did you find that message?

"see you in december"

the phrase was found first discovered here:

http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=19224

Quote:
Returning to http://IBelieveinHarveyDentToo.com shows a updated page that's nearly blank, except for the words "Page not found" in red. Further examination of the updated page reveals a lot of "HAHAHAHAHA"s if you do ctrl+a on the page. Looking through the long lines of laughter reveals a number of out of place letters that once strung together, form the phrase "See you in December."

Wow.
I never would've decoded that. Good job, whoever did.

All things Harvey Dent are (were?) being discussed here:

Has anyone checked the site recently? There's a Jack-O-Lantern that looks like the one from Long Halloween exactly. There's a candle inside that looks pretty burnt out... perhaps something on Halloween? Thoughts?

No, I didn't notice that. I just checked the other day and it was not there. It is the first time they have changed it in months.
