Just FYI - I asked Beth, in a recent message, about Hud - how did she know him, was he a myspace friend or someone she knew before, etc...

She replied:

"Hud is my best friend's roomates, so we're homies by association."

I'm assuming that her "best friend" is Rob. We already knew this, but FWIW, Beth and Hud are only friends 'by association.'

Also, btw, the Hud question came up b/c we were talking about the movie "Primer" (I recommended it to her b/c of her Kylie Minogue vid. and she said it sounded like the kind of movie Hud would like, and so I asked her about Hud). Again, all this is FYI - nothing more.

through the comments section i gathered that JJ or "Hawk" is roommates with "HUD" but i didnt catch anything about Rob rooming with them. so maybe rob's brother is Beth's best friend then?

On Beth's blog, she names Rob as her best friend. So, odds are that Rob and Hud are roommates - but, Hawk could still be a 3rd roommate. Hawk, Hud, and Rob could all live together.

Also, wasn't there a mention on a myspace page about Lily's roommate - some guy...? I looked, but can't find it, but I KNOW it was/is there somewhere - on someone's blog maybe. Anyone know what I'm talking about here?

Good call - I think you're right. The first myspace comments between Hawk and Lil made it clear they live together.

Hawk to Lily: "hey babe could you pick up some milk and pb on your way home from work?"

Lily to Hawk: "You do realize there are 3 bodegas right on our block, right?"

So, yeah, they live together. I had totally missed that. Well done!
It's probably safe to assume - for now, until we get conflicting evidence - that:

Rob, Hud, Hawk and Lily all share an apartment (and, so, it's a very good candidate for the location of the party in the movie).

Marlena and Jamie share an apartment.

Beth lives alone, or with someone else (there's been some reasonable speculation that Beth might be married, but it's far from certain).

I think that works. Anything we're missing? Any problems w/this?

That wedding ring was pretty convincing to me. There was the thought that perhaps it was an overlooked detail, but that strikes me as unlikely. It's like wearing a shirt that says "I'm married" (i.e. very hard to miss).

I suppose there's no reason to assume that she's not a young divorcee, but Hollywood tends to like their divorcees a bit older.
