A few thoughts regarding the Myspace Slusho 7 (apologies in advance if most of this stuff has been covered - I actually read the entire thread a few weeks ago, but my memory is somewhat porous)

-Is there something going on between Rob and Beth? They had the lunch date, and in the one pic on Rob's profile, she comments about how most of the pictures feature his favorite shirt and that she needs to buy him some new ones - to me, this implies some sort of relationship, be it sibling, girlfriend, or simply best friend-with-unrequited love

-Based on the fact that the picture of Beth in Alaska has been photoshopped (look around her hood - it's pretty clear she's been superimposed on the background), is it possible that they've in fact taken older pictures of the actors/actresses involved and photoshopped them onto other backgrounds? I can see why they'd do this, to try to craft "lives" for these characters that are independent of each other, but without dragging the actual friends/relatives of the actors/actresses into the whole hoopla.

-If the previous bullet is, in fact, true, why haven't they taken the actress that's playing Jamie on jamieandteddy.com and, y'know, actually used HER for the photos on the MySpace? I mean, I could be wrong, but there's a great deal of variation between the girls in the pictures, to my eyes at least, and it's not the sort of small changes you'd expect as someone ages.

-Beth is, by far, the most attractive of the ladies in the Slusho 7. (Off-topic, I know, but I had to put it out there for all of the Jamie lovers)

That's really all I've come up with today, and, while I'm a conspiracy theorist at heart, I'm trying to avoid some of the more rampant speculation that seems to come flowing unbidden into my brain.

If you do a search, you can find ample discussion about the Rob-Beth thing. Not trying to chide you or anything - thanks for contributing and please keep it up - but this has already been mentioned a few times.
Most people think that Rob has a thing for Beth, but she isn't really feeling it (at least not for now, although I suspect things change in the movie to create romantic tension).

Also, a while back, when I was messaging Beth on MySpace, I asked her point blank if there was anything going on between her and Rob. She said something to the effect of "No! we're just good friends". Her refusing to let Rob 'take' her out to lunch also works with this - i.e. he wants more, maybe, but she's not receptive. So that's where it stands right now.

To be honest, I don't remember seeing that before, but I never looked at that part of her site in great detail. She DID log in this last week & no one noticed any change- was that possibly what she changed? Anyone else remember?

I really wonder if that station will be involved at all. They seem sort of highbrow and definitely not the type of station that one would assume the Slusho 7 and most ARGers would listen to. Although, they DO list the names of all their sponsors on their website (click on Advertise with WXQR at the top). Maybe something will appear there??

The WQXR comment has been on Lil's space from the beginning.

The only thing that noticeably changed on her page the other night was her music -- it's now "Tamacun," a snazzy Spanish guitar number.

Someone - a long time back - identified (or, at least, claimed to have identified) the location of that pic with Lily in a parka on a bridge (the one Beth took). I searched, but for some reason, I can't view beyond page 1 of the search results (e.g., "Lil pic" or "Lil bridge" etc.) ?!

Anyway, the post(s) are out there somewhere, and it wasn't identified as Alaska or Norway - it was Asian (according to the post). But, I can't remember what city. Chinese, I think. Anyway, that may have been wrong.

Rgardless, if that photo has been doctored (presumably by the PM's), doesn't that mean that some/any of the other myspace pics could have been doctored? They tell the actors to bring in old photos, and then they work on them - and, why?? To insert CLUE(s). Why else would they screw with photos? If they're just for background/filler, they'd leave them be... RIGHT?

Also, Beth is most definitely the hottest. Lily is a close second.

Speaking of Beth - HAS ANYONE HERE HAD ANY CONTACT W/BETH SINCE OCT. 2nd? ANY MESSAGE RESPONSES FROM HER SINCE THEN? (I've been having at least weekly contact w/lateral riddles, and she hasn't even read a message of mine in a while - the last unread one I sent was Oct. 2 - after that, I sent one more basically saying "helloo...?" and neither have even been looked at.. ??)

EDIT: Also, isn't WQXR in the N.Y. Times building? It's address is West 43rd st. which is the NYTimes building. There's no Citicorp there, as far as I can tell (and Beth works at Citicorp.). I searched for Citicorp buildings in NYC and couldn't find one that had a classical radio station as a tenant, but I couldn't find very definitive info. on that.

Yeah, I don't think WQXR, or any radio station, is directly involved either. But, Rob's comment to Beth mentioned that the classic radio station was in her building - this could mean where she lives or works, but I'd guess it's where she works, since they're talking about lunch, and Beth refers to her boss being away, etc.

So, if we can find a building that has a classic radio station and a Citicorp. office, then we know the location/address of where Beth supposedly works. Why that would be important, I don't know, but that's one way for an OOG radio station to be 'involved' in this.

Melampus (or anyone else who knows), I know you've been really actively working on the myspace dimension of all this... do you remember Lily having that WQXR blurb on her myspace page before? I honestly cannot remember and can't find proof either way, but I'm thinking it was added the other day, because wouldn't people have made that connection between Rob's place of work and Lily's fave station faster than that?? I mean, it seems like the way things work around here, Rob would have said he was going there and then someone would have mentioned pretty quickly that it was the same station that Lily mentioned. But I could be wrong. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts, though.
