Take me out.... Bitches!!!
Just try it'''

Ok, everyones got crazy ideas, heres mine. People have started dissecting the songs on the pages, and the Modest Mouse "Dashboard" Caught my eye. Lets take a look. Heres the song lyrics, in their entirety...

Quote:

Well it would have been, could have been, worse than you would ever know.

Oh the dashboard melted but we still have the radio.

Oh should have been, could have been, worse than you would ever know.

Well you told me about nowhere well it sounds like some place I?d like to go.

Oh it could have been, should have been, worse than you would ever know.

Well the wind shield was broken but I love the fresh air you know (the dashboard melted but we still have the radio).

Well it would have been, could have been, worse than you would ever know (the dashboard melted but we still have the radio).

Well we talked about nothing which was more than I wanted to know-ow-ow-ow-ow.

Now here we go!

Oh would have been could have been worse then it had even gone.

Well the car was on blocks but I was already where I want (it was impossible we really couldn't we really couldn't)

Oh Should have we ever even after everything get to tomorrow (it was impossible we really couldn't we really couldn't)

Oh cause the world don't like us it?ll shake us just like we were co-o-o-o-ld

Now here we go!

Well we schemed and schemed but we always blow it we've yet to crash but we still matters where we do it standing out like Swiss cheese switch east and west from right every thought was your surprise in the evening was condolences.

So it wasn't quite as bad as, well it would have could have been worse then you would ever know.

I was patiently erasing but recording your own emphasis after you proved my point wrong it wasn't like I?d let it go.

I just want to catch the last laugh of this show.

Yea, it would have been could have been worse then you would ever know.

Oh the dashboard melted but we still had the radio (the dashboard melted but we really couldn't really couldn't)

Hardwired to conceive so much we had to stow it even except these times johns with bonny at johns.

Don?t wear eyelids so I don't miss the last laugh of the show (the dashboard melted but we still have the radio)

Well we could have should have been worse then you would ever know (the dashboard melted but we still have the radio)

Well you told me about no one but instead about someplace I?d like to go.

Now here we go!

Well we schemed and schemed but we always blow it we've yet to crash the place but we still matters where we do it standing out like Swiss cheese switch east and west from right every thought was your surprise in the evening was condolences.

So it wasn't quite as bad as,

Would have been could have been worse then you would ever know.

Ok, what stands out? First, these lines:

Quote:
Oh the dashboard melted but we still have the radio.

and:

Quote:
Well the wind shield was broken but I love the fresh air you know (the dashboard melted but we still have the radio).

Sounds like the mysterious pic that Jamie left in Robs comments. [Mentioned before me]

This just seems to tell me "Hey, look here!!! Its more then it seems!"

Next:

Quote:
Well the car was on blocks but I was already where I want (it was impossible we really couldn't we really couldn't)

And:

Quote:
I was patiently erasing but recording your own emphasis after you proved my point wrong it wasn't like I?d let it go.

This and more has led me to belive something; We all know Rob has a thing for Beth, but would it be crazy to Think Jamie has a thing for Rob? Maybe their lives are more complicated then we thought? [I also think Hud has a thing for Jamie]

Next:

Quote:
Oh Should have we ever even after everything get to tomorrow (it was impossible we really couldn't we really couldn't)

Oh cause the world don't like us it?ll shake us just like we were co-o-o-o-ld

Referencing the destruction to come?

Now. Things that may be clues. This one seems BIG, if I'm right:

Quote:
Well we schemed and schemed but we always blow it we've yet to crash the place but we still matters where we do it standing out like Swiss cheese switch east and west from right every thought was your surprise in the evening was condolences.

Ok. J.J. knows we've been chasing down that damn donkey and fish! And swiss Cheese??? Maybe we're "Scheming and scheming", but "we always blow it", and have yet to "Crash" whatever place site/puzzle/code we're supposed to? And Need I really state any thing about swiss cheese "Standing out"? Switching east to west from left to right sounds like directions, but to what...I've no clue. But when ever I think about it, my brain aches, as though streching for some info thats gotten lost in the multitude of thoery and speculation that this has become...

Quote:
Hardwired to conceive so much we had to stow it even except these times johns with bonny at johns.

Again, us "Conceiving" so much, essentially in vain, but that last bit about johns and bonny strikes me weird...

And lastly:

Quote:
I was patiently erasing but recording your own emphasis after you proved my point wrong it wasn't like I?d let it go.

I just want to catch the last laugh of this show.

and:

Quote:
Don?t wear eyelids so I don't miss the last laugh of the show (the dashboard melted but we still have the radio)

A nod from J.J. mocking our futility, or something else?

Well, theres my insane bit of overstretched $0.02

Now, Flame On! True believers....

I don't mean to flame you or anything, but I have some lyric corrections for the Modest Mouse song. Sorry! Embarassed The place you got the lyrics from probably couldn't make out what Isaac Brock was saying when they transcribed the lyrics (people had some trouble with that when the song leaked). I got the lyrics from another site and they seem to match the song, but I can double check with the CD booklet once I have it with me.

Why should we ever even ever really even get to know
(It was impossible, we ran it good, we ran it good)

There's never mention of "swiss cheese" in the song... unfortunately? Laughing It would have been weird but there would be a connection at least. Here are the right lyrics for that part:

Well, we scheme and we scheme but we always blow it
We've yet to crash, but we still might as well tow it
Standing at a light switch to each east and west horizon
Every dawn you're surprising
And the evening was consoling
Saying, "See, it wasn't quite as bad as"
Well, it would've been, could've been
Worse than you would ever know

I was patiently erasing and recording the wrong episodes
After you had proved my point wrong
It wasn't like I'd let it go

Hard-wired to concieve, so much we'd have to stow it
Even needs have needs, tiny giants made of tinier giants

Here are the full lyrics.

Satoshi Kagashima's account again
Maybe OOG, but interesting

Ok, if this shouldn't be posted here since chances are it's OOG, someone just tell me and I'll stop. Otherwise, I'll skip the preamble (since I already talked about this site on page 31) and get to the point:

It was pointed out to me that there is a second set of numbers on Satoshi's map as well. In addition to 314 4:22 at Gallup, 1:35 88 is written south of the Grand Canyon.

The numbers represent mileage on a roadtrip. 314-88=226 miles from an arbitrary point south of the Grand Canyon (more or less where 88 is written on the map) to Gallup, where 314 is written. Given the times, the average rate of travel to cover the 226 miles was a little over 81 mph. (Go grade school math....)

If you extend the route out along the highlighted road to the full 314 miles, which is to the point at which the mileage recording started (or at least was zero), you end up near the mouth of a small unnamed road east of the Grand Canyon that leads off of Rt. 64 (Navahopi Rd.) to the base of a ridge that roughly parallels Rt. 64.

If you assume a constant rate of travel (which doesn't make much sense) the trip started from mile zero at 12:30. Which is at least sort of interesting, since that's what time the event occurred.

So still probably OOG, but a little more interesting.

I've still got absolutely nothing on the 24 5-digit numbers listed in his profile. They're not zip codes (although wouldn't that have been cool?).

Dashboard song

I'll admit that the lyrics of that song definitely seem to be drawing our attention to that picture of the boombox sticking out of the back window of that car. In that picture, we see a car, a boombox, a bottle of Capn' Morgans, some junk in the background, a babydoll hanging from a rope, and... a photograph on the tree?? The photo is just to the left of the babydoll and right above the car.

Can anyone get a good look at that photo? Why is it there, and right in the center of the pic? It looks like a picture of two people, probably women. Anyone?

Holy crap! "Beth" wrote back! Good call sending a message that 'plays along' with the fiction, rather than saying "you're going to die on Jan. 18th!!"

Well done.
