Ok. This might sound like I'm joking, but I'm not. What if, Abrams expected people to message Rob with things about disasters and monsters? Maybe that's the reason that Rob looks like he knows what is going on, in the trailer. Maybe it's because, for months, he's been receiving all these very strange warnings via MySpace, and maybe he should have heeded their ominous warnings.
This probably isn't the case, as Abrams needs to play to the audience that isn't playing along on the internet, as well, but it is a strange theory.
Sorry if it's been brought up.

A while back, I asked Jason Hawk if "chugging a slusho" was some new euphemism for something. He read it but never replied. Maybe "slusho" is off-limits for myspace discussion...?

You wouldn't think so, because he's wearing a Slusho! t-shirt in the teaser.

Right, and he mentions Slusho in his myspace blog.

Still, nobody seems to be getting any responses, once Slusho is mentioned.

Maybe Hawk will only respond to someone who has a certain kind of myspace profile - one that would appeal to his character.

Then again, anything any of the Slusho Seven (good name, borrowed from another thread) say about Slusho will be intensely scrutinized for meaning, by all of us. So, if it's just some intern(s) sending replies to our messages, he/she/they might not be authorized to comment at all on Slusho, i.e., there might be topics that are off-limits, and Slusho would be one of them. It would depend on who's actually answering our messages.

I'm curious if, and where, anyone has been focused on checking out the newly added gazillion friends of the 7 in order to determine if any others are IG that may provide relevant information indirectly...and if any have been identified, I vote they get a specific thread to address them. I've noticed a few that appeared to suggest an "insider" association but did not spend any time checking out after 2 of the commenters profiles were private. Has anyone put in an add request for any of the private friends?

I've had a few ms pages in the last couple years and burned out so bad on it. So when I first learned you all had rooted them out I logged in to one that I hardly ever use except to try out profile themes. I submitted add requests to each of them just to see if they would be adding people or not. Jamie and Hud did so when I saw the surge in new friends I decided to revamp one that I had people on (to help share and spread the slusho virus muahahah), and submitted that one, and one other with different content (specifically cloverfield) just as a tester to see how they might be handling this at all. So I deleted the initial one and closed it out, but the second two have not been accepted so far. Otherwise I'd leave comments and jump in.

Just as an aside, I was curious about this from that pirate master thread I kicked off the other day but I did discover ms has apparently changed up the settings so that we are now able to leave our own comments on our own comments section. That's relatively new.

I don't see how these profiles will last until Jan... they are already "getting old".

Has anyone thought of asking HUD if he saw the Transformers movie?

Yeah, and if he replies ask him what he thought of the trailer preceding the movie. I can just imagine the response:
"I could do a better job at it."

Guy's got Jamie as his top friend and the page was created on July 1st, well within the timeline we've got. I think we might have something here!

I asked HUD what he though about the 300 and he replied that it was a "gayboy fantasy."
