I'm still playing the same lateral riddle with Beth that I started many weeks ago. Along w/my answers to her lat. riddle questions, I've been making small talk, but nothing interesting has come from it - 'cept she posted my surfing tsunami vid. Huzzah! I haven't wanted to jinx things, so I've avoided any potentially movie-related topics. So far, it's just chatting w/no real purpose. But, she is still responding.

Maybe each character has a limited list of keywords or keytopics that they will definitely respond to. Beth seems to be checking messages and responding at least once a day - sometimes twice - and, not on weekends. Seems like they'd need some way to filter all the messages they must be receiving, in order to be responding that quickly and frequently.

A bunch of people should try sending Lily messages about House of Leaves; make them realistic, polite and friendly. It would be interesting to see if she responds to all of them.

I think that's a great idea - and yeah, the rule should be that you just post the content of your interactions w/the characters; no discussion, opinions, comments - leave that for this thread. That could definitely prove useful. Good thinkin'!

P.s. - and not just conversation 'starters' - any direct interaction w/any of the Slusho 7 should be posted there, right?

That wasn't what I had in mind, but now that you mention it, it would probably be more useful. So, the thread would contain any communications between players and characters, but no discussion.

it's very strategic i feel. i added them all to my friends list but never got any of them accept. besides being a loser, i feel this is because it was unpresidented and they assumed it was just a movie-obsessed fan prodding for clues.. i'm assuming they don't want folks on their lists that are going to just post comments and shit about their party that hasn't happened yet.

then again one of their friends is some ass who has the image of the hair between the two girls enphasized as a demon-head as his profile pic... so who the shit knows.
