re: slusho is people

perhaps this monster is a creature from space... who has spent a long time looking for the best food, or what not, and stumbles upon earth where it finds humans, the best food in the universe...?

Shocked

Well it's about friggin time. I think you should all say thank you tinag222 for going away and stopping with the pot watching....cause only when I've actually gotten off of here do they update! So I refused to pull up either site til after Comicon and yay updates.

Of course now I gotta go back over 50 pages to catch up but I did want to comment that at least one of those 'I want my slusho tshirts" quotes was inspired by yours truly Razz

Ok off to catch up.

Just read everything in the last three days. No need to go through a hundred pages.

Another way we usually organize forums is to begin a NEW thread when there is NEW content on an existing website. Tag such a thead as [UPDATE] and add the date and site name in the topic for reference. We could then stop using one long thread for old content. Our Forum Rules and Guidelines thread hints at this. Do continue to use existing threads to add new thoughts about subjects already posted. Thanks!

Anyone lookup anagrams for the flavor names yet?

Knock yourself out.

Blueberry Zoom
Chocolate Rage
Mikan
Nashi
Banana Anime
Strawberry Tasty

I think they're just cutsey flavor names, but if anagrams zoom your slusho, by all means go for it. Smile

Well, apparently Mikan is a Japanese citrus fruit, and Nashi is a Japanese pear.
Why don't they have "last" names?

OT - reminds me of a type of yogurt we have in Israel - the names of the flavors are a fruit with an adjective describing it (i.e frisky watermelon or lovesick banana. lol.). Just reminded me of it.

Anagram for Mikan and Nashi: Hanks in AIM or Ankhs in AIM
Possibility?

Slusho flavor mixer
I'll try to explain this...

OK, so I figured out the mechanism for the flavor mixer. I'll try to explain how it works... It's a little complicated.

Well, here goes...

The body of the robot you get at the end is divided into groups. Each group has several spaces that get colored.
Group 1, for example, includes the main torso, pipes on the sides of the torso, gauntlets on the arms, soles of the shoes, and the liquid in the cup.
If you add just one flavor, those spaces will get colored with it's color (blue, brown, orange, green, yellow, and red). When we add more than one flavor it gets a little tricky...
When you add more than one flavor, the flavor with the most "power" will get bumped to the last group (i.e, if there are 3 flavors, the one with the most power will color group 3, the second most will color group 2, and the least powerful will color group 1). The "power" also affects the strength of the color (if blue is only one quarter up, the color will be a pale blue, but if the power bar is full, the blue will be much deeper).

What we need to figure out is, what order the flavors should be put in. I tested and realized that minute adjustments make no difference, what matters is how powerful each bar is in descending order.
If we knew which group of empty spaces to color with each flavor, we'd probably unlock whatever it is you need to unlock, if there is anything to unlock in the first place.

I hope this is clear enough... I didn't have the time to test which areas belong to each groups, but there are several (including the color of the bubbles inside the liquid).
The "unlock code" we should be looking for will give us the order in which to power the different flavorbots (it could be colors - blue, orange, yellow, brown, or it could be the names in order).

Well, search away!

The original thread was cumbersome. I've split the action at the point of the major site update (as is our custom)

Carry on!

for reference, the ORIGINAL site was discussed in the other thread

If two of the flavors are exactly the same (i.e full power), the one to the left will get bumped over the one to the right (i.e if blueberry and chocolate are the same, blueberry will be one group down from chocolate - blueberry=2, chocolate=1).

What we need to figure out is, what order the flavors should be put in. I tested and realized that minute adjustments make no difference, what matters is how powerful each bar is in descending order.

Personally, I think the flavor game is a clue to the rumored outer space origins of the ALIVE HUGE monster, the game itself being less important than the space setting.

On the odd chance that there IS something there, I think combining all those flavors would eventually drive me nutso, so I'll let more patient folks than I put their noses to that particular grindstone.

Good hunting!

I edited my original post. Some of the data there turned out to be false upon further inspection.

You forgot to mention 1 thing, Het. If you don't modify a flavor from 0, it won't be added to the cup. If everything you say is true, it means there are 7 positions the flavor can have: Not included, First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth.

I'll come back later and express this all as a factorial equation, once I remember how to.

Pretty much, assuming I'm correct (which I think I am).

I sent a few others, as well, trying to get a response. Sorry to have caused such a controversy. Embarassed

Don't apologize. It was your e-mail that proved to me it was user comments. The reference was too obvious to be IG. It had to be a user e-mail.
