after doing a search and finding nothing I figured I would bring this up. I just noticed that everything on the slusho site moves clockwise. From the cups to the lines in the backgrounds, so that was my random blurb about slusho for the day.

Right click
Expands Frame

While playing around on the site I discovered that by right clicking on the page and selecting "Play" the frame surrounding the animation expands! I haven't found anything yet and, this may be something that commonly happens with flash. I dont know.

main page slusho buttons

I don't think I've seen anyone comment on this before, but if you scroll over the buttons on slusho's main page, you get a pattern: moving left to right you get the donkey, then the whale, the frog, the duck, the donkey on the 5th button and the whale on the 6th.

Now, if you move your cursor on, then off of the same button, without touching another button, a different animal shows up: once again moving left to right you get the whale, the frog, the duck, the donkey on the fourth button and the whale on the fifth but no new animal on the sixth button. The sixth button goes whale, then nothing.

Given that there's six buttons, and six robots in the slusho mixer, it seems like there maybe some values attached to the main page buttons and the variable bars for each robot.

Additionally, I may need someone to sign my commitment papers . . .

Because you didn't Search for it. Here's one such post. A second, and a third

So many great speculations

Definitely the middle letters is a great idea.

Just a guess, but I'm sure more of those "ideas" (i.e. hammer, cheese) will start popping up on the characters and spell out a word.

Like this, perhaps?
Code:
haMMer
.zOOm.
..NN.. ?
..SS.. ?
miTTen
chEEse
..RR..?

I agree, the observation about miDDle leTTers is the best bit of lateral thinking I've seen all week, but that's just my opinion as a player, of course. CaRRy on!

Here's a slightly different reading of the bad/broken English on the Slusho! site. Specifically, I think that You Can't Drink Just Six may mean You Can't Drink; Just Six.

You= those of us reading the website.
Can't Drink= aren't allowed to "drink"...not fit, not worthy, unqualified.
Just Six= there are only six people in the world who can "drink".

The six being: Rob, Jamie, Beth, JJ, Marlena and Hudson (as has been pointed out before, each represented by a flavor of Slusho.) Lily (represented by the water lily h/t Kayberry) is the odd person out.

Sorry to rehash my original posts, but has anyone explored the large store view at all? (http://store.slusho.jp/v/big.html)

The things that make me suspicious here are:

-The fact that the large Slusho logo is "distressed" looking - some may think it's to make it look vintage, but I just think it looks a little weird, as if there were something to dissect in that first image, like the lines running through it.

- The image of the cap and how the slogan is slightly different than that Slusho saying we've been seeing thoughout the site (You Can't JUST DRINK Six as opposed to You Can't DRINK JUST Six). Maybe this is a significant image.

Please Photoshoppers, do your thing!! I have it, just not sure how I can go about playing with the images. Smile

EDIT: I definitely think something is up with these two images - take a look at the source code:

Code:
<html><body><br><center><img src="/v/images/large1.jpg">

<br><br><img src="/v/images/large2.gif">

<br><br><img src="/v/images/large3.gif">

<br><br><img src="/v/images/large4.gif">

<br><br><img src="/v/images/large5.gif">

<br><br><img src="/v/images/large6.jpg">

</center></body>

Why are the first and last (the ones I pointed out) the only ones that are jpegs and the other gifs? I know they're pretty much interchangeable, but there has to be something here, I can just feel it. Also, why would they make a separate link for the large images? Most online storefronts let you click on the link for a shirt and within that, let you click on the individual large image for it.

OK . . . I ran Stegdetect on the large6.jpg (the HAT photo) and (if I used the program correctly . . ) it detected jphide with 3 stars (***).

So my guess is is that there is something hidden in that file that we need to get out. (assuming I did everything correctly in steg detect . . .)

Large1.jpg did not show as positive.

Well since no one is trying to find the hidden file I have tried the following pass phrases in JPHS on large6.jpg.

hammer/haMMer
cheese
mitten
1-18-08cloverfield

The above words are not valid.

When I used 1-18-08 it said that the file was partially recovered. Maybe there's more to the passphrase? or maybe it's completely invalid.

I'll keep trying stuff . . .

I have no idea what you are trying to do, but it sounds intresting. If you can explain it to me, i'll be proud to help.

I thought I may have been onto something... but I don't know. You tell me. I read where somewhere said to "zoom in" on the pages since it does read "Slusho! Zoom".

Well, I zoomed in on the fashion show. Besides seeing the Slusho! logos really clear, I noticed all the hands in the background. I then began to wonder if they could be signing (sign language) anything.

I googled this:

http://www.funbrain.com/cgi-bin/st.cgi?A1=s&A15=signs&A2=0&Submit=Show+Me+The+Signs%21

and compared it.

If it is sign language, the only letter/numbers that picked out were:

5

1 or D

possibly an L

There's also a close "Y"... the devil horns.

There's also one hand that looks like a monster's head toward the middle of the stage. You know, like what making shadows on the wall would do.

Probably reading too much into it, but it would've been a cool idea for them to employ that.

Since certain items are very clear when you zoom in, I believe that feature is IG.

There also looks like there could be an "R" in there... by the 3 and 4 photographer from the right.

What about Slusho itself being 6 letters???

Or perhaps we're missing a slu"T" and sho"W"??? Sorry,,, couldn't resist that one. Laughing

But serious about Slusho 6.

Simplest explanation is that it is possible to hide files and images within JPEG files without changing the main image.

Stegdetect is a tool that can be used to detect these hidden files and Jphide/Jpseek are examples of tools used to hide and retrieve them.

To get at the hidden files, you need to enter a passphrase. In ARGs it's generally something you have to figure out from clues that find on the web or from in game emails.

I know when I forgot some passwords to a zip file, I found a breaker that cracked the password... can you find a standalone brute force style program that will try infinite passwords until it cracks? ... Assuming there's something there, of course...

Stegdetect comes with a brute force attacker called stegbreak. It's a DOS program, and I couldn't get it to work. I was missing the dictionary file. Maybe someone with more command line experience can try to use it...
