Hm. some interesting things from wikipedia about Hokkaido, which one of the creatures on Happy Talk talks about.

*It's in Northern Japan and is cooler climate-wise than the rest of Japan.

*It's by the sea--known for its seafood.

*The Hokkaido fox carries the echinococcus parasite, which can be fatal in humans. Because this parasite can be spread through water, do not drink any unboiled river or lake water in Hokkaido. Approaching or feeding foxes is also not recommended. (Feeding wildlife is also illegal.)

Parasite? Hm....

wow nice find
you might really have something

Sorry, Trout

The Happy Talk section features the contents of the emails WE sent to slusho. It even says "YOUR Happy Talk".
Any clues "provided" there are simply the creations of people who emailed the address on the slusho site.

I don't buy that; it's XML driven.

http://www.slusho.jp/xml/talk.xml

No one is forcing you to "buy it", but it's still the truth.

Why would they bother including user content? Did you actually see something up there that you or someone you know wrote in? I highly doubt it's anything but content created by Abrams & crew, and it may or may not contain important clues.

slusho zoom white text

also, on the slusho zoom site, there is now a new hidden line of text, which states:

"Knowing Art by Name is not as important as knowing art by site."

Happy Talk

The Happy Talk section is only a section where the site regurgitates our E-Mails that we sent to Satoshi.

You're crazy if you think otherwise.

How do I know? One of them was my E-Mail, not to mention some of the other ones I saw when we were throwing random E-Mails at the Auto-Reply. Silly people.

I've only seen about 10 sayings in the Happy Talk, displayed over and over, none of which sound like they would have come from other players. In fact, they sound like they're written in the engrish that the rest of the site is.

My opinion is that they're imitating people who would have written into slusho, as if slusho was real. Most product sites have a feedback section, and if slusho was real, they would too.

Anyone have any ideas about the significance of this pic in the store?

The Slusho logo we have been seeing so far was "You Can't Drink Just Six." but this says "You Can't Just Drink Six." - is there something deeper hidden in this pic perhaps?

I disagree. If you look at slusho.jp, there is a google tracker that appears to count the number of people who go from slusho.jp to slushozoom.com, or vice-versa. I would paste the link, but its huge. Also, just the fact that slusho.jp references slushozoom so much leads me to believe that it is related.

B.S.

everyone thought happy talk was going to be a forum. why would people think to send e-mails to slusho (a fake drink company) and tell them about some random city they visited in japan and they should bring the drink to the states. its all fake.

ill put $1,000 down thats says no one REALLY sees a comment they made end up on the slusho site.

Nice, but now that i look at the picture, the angle for the slusho angle is off, the hat faces towards the left and is titled but the logo is perfectly straight, and the back part with the quote also doesn't show the other side of the hat, like it goes straight through, so there might be something.

I do not see any Google counter neither in the source nor in the page itself.

Please stop arguing. We're not just saying it's OOG because we feel like it. A lot of work has gone in to this. It's disrespectful when people have done a lot of footwork, but you just don't agree.

Just to appease you, from the whois for slushozoom:
Creation Date: 2007-07-12
This is a gamejack. They want you to donate money to them. It's a gamejack.

Check the domain registration:
http://whois.domaintools.com/slushozoom.com

Registered over a week after all this started and is not registered to Paramount. Hell, the site even has a link to a Warner Brothers Studio tour. It's gamejack.

Don't believe it if that doesn't convince you, but you won't find many people here that believe it's legit.

Alright--my apologies didn't mean to be rude. Was just trying to figure out why when I look at the activity in Safari when slusho.jp is up, a google-analytics.com script is running that has slushozoom.com in its parameters...but if people have figured out that its not connected, then its not connected.
