heres my theroy

i think that in halo 3 the elites will work together with the humans to take down the flood, if u checked out the halo3.com site(i know most of u have) there is a last resort and that the flood have become smarter. there are different halo armors in the multiplayer screenshots so maybe you can use them in the single as well. as for going back in time, that seems impossible as they never mentioned it before. i think that they go back a bit and explain WHY MC was the last spartan. i say was because in the books he wasnt the last spartan since a few survived as well as new spartan III's were trained. so maybe thats where the new armor comes into play.

well thats what i can think of right now so what do ya think?

In other words, the flood are going to become more fucking annoying than they were before.

heh, yah, but the good thing is that they have online co-op now, up to four players btw. but what seems stupid to me is the fact that they didn't put coop for splitscreen(as in just one console) as well.

My take on it all

i think that time travel is a possibility (although not one i am completely comfortable with) because of the conversations cited earlier in these forums by other contributors, especially the part where GS 343 asks MC, "Why whould you hesitate now to do what you did before", or something to that effect. Also, i believe that there will be some form of forerunner in Halo 3, if not for the sole purpose of explaining everything and answering everyone's questions. as to peoples' references to marathon, it seems very possible, especially if time travel IS involved, that the marathon universe is an alternate or parallel universe to that of halo. However, i doubt that they would end both series' the same way. Tartarus is dead, and as for the sarge, who the hell knows. but it is a very good point that it would make a very climactic scene if he (johnson) suddenly burst into a flood.

Um actually they do have split screen coop, admittedly its two player, but you can join in with any combo of two other players. (two others doing a split screen, or two people else where)

how is gravemind able to teleport MC & Arbiter around like that? Could he teleport himself elsewhere (like to safety when the first halo detonated)?

 Halo 3 POSSIBLE ENDING
Halo 3 Ending

Well Since Bungie Have decided to carry on the halo franchise with halo wars , halo movie and Somin to do with peter jackson i dont belive the end of halo 3 will end with everyone dying (Thats like saying it was all a dream) Now Onto my theory... ---- Well In halo 1 MC destroyed 1 Of 7 Halos.. And in halo 2 we found out tht the 7 halos coverd all the galaxy in there firing range So........(Drum Role) ...... That Means There Are Only 6 halos In Working Condition So the Is A Part Of The Galaxy That Is Not In the Range of The Halos So If That ''Region Of Uninfected Space'' Is Where Earth is Everyone Is Safe!! ... So Prophets Activate the ark But Noone Dies On earth but every where else in the galaxy EVERYTHING Dies!

I believe the Halo Master Chief blew up was the one near the Covenant Home world, but im not sure. Anyways, (from what I know) the Halos cover hundreds of light years of space. Maybe even thousands. I think too many people are looking at Halos as only wiping out a small area. Halos wipe out most of the Universe and getting beyond their reach would probably be impossible.
But it is a good theory. What would happen if the Halos fired again? Would they not kill everything, or just be missing a chunk?

you mean galaxy Wink
and that's where black holes come in... if they explored through space/time, they could easily have (in theory) allowed flood to pour through some other location in the universe, and to ensure the galaxy's safety, they fired the halos to wipe out their food.

The teleport system is based on Halo, and it teleports within close proximity of Halo (like when Gravemind teleported the MC into High Charity when it was orbiting Halo). The same system exists on Onyx.

Also, the blast radius of the Halo arrays is 3 galactic radii.

sorry, but, where in sam hell are you getting your information exactly?

Where ever it is, I recommend Halo.bungie.org and rampancy.net instead. You've been getting a LOT of bad information.

I think he's talking about the lack of 4 player co-op on one console. Although there will be 4 player available over LAN and Live.

But if he's not then he needs to read things properly.
