IGN credits Slashfilm for the "sleuthing", so it's good.

Now that it's out there publically, let's see if it gets a reaction. After all, Abrams at ComicCon did know that the title "Monstrous" was floating around; he's not completely in the dark over this.

JJ has admitted to being an old school fanboy. I don't think he constantly trolls, but I'm sure he does some looking around himself, either that or he makes his minions to do it.

Well...an overnight is also a kind of diaper. Maybe that's a clue. Maybe JJ's trying to tell us it's a shitty movie. Smile

overnight

Something I picked up on was if Overnight was actually the name of the movie then like most movies do it will have a website with the name of the movie in it. I first started with overnight.com and overnightmovie.com but seeing as those didn't work I tried
http://www.theovernightmovie.com

It brought me to a page that said Godaddy.com: coming soon.

So I did a whois of the domain name and this is what I got:

http://whois.domaintools.com/theovernightmovie.com

I am pretty sure the other domain names in this ARG were acquired through godaddy.com, the date created is 8/01/07 (today). Just my 2 cents on this topic.

^GoDaddy's a popular webhost. Since it was created today, I'd say it's a gamejack.

No, the rest were registered through TuCows or NetSol.

The Overnight rumor just hit CNBC's On the Money; they mentioned Slashfilm as their source, which makes me glad that Slashfilm's site at least credits malemunyon.
