Actually, it's not. It's called "Muppets Take Manhattan: Part Deux"

Edit- To chuckle at the "factual link" that's only a speculation. Heck, it's even got it's own thread in the forum.

May I just quote one line from that article?

"is it possible?" -- they are just gathering clues and drawing their own conclusion. This is not a statement of fact, nothing has been proven.

Uh, that's in no way confirmed. Just speculation based off of the same clues we found.

I like this:

What do you think of the new title? I think it's the best one yet but I so can't wait to see this movie mind you, it could have the worst title in the world and everyone would still be excited to see it!

Reminds me of Snakes on a Plane Laughing

I was on the Orchard/Stanton set pretty much the entire time last night, very interesting to see first hand. From what I'd witnessed, they were shooting a mock, live news piece - reporter, interviews, frightened, dirty, bloody citizens, etc. I couldn't really hear all of what was exchanged between the reporter and whom he was interviewing, but the action was odd..at one point it seemed as if he'd asked the entire group a question, then grandually more and more extras would raise their hands..as if they were volunteering for something...very dramatic.

Are you sure you were watching actual filming because I saw a guy there with a professional camera walking around talking to the extras but it was like "how are you feeling about this shoot" kind of questions, like a behind the scenes.

its very plausible that this is the title, but its also been recognized that this could be just another fake title. Really, the name wont be confirmed until JJ Abrams says it I think. All the fake names are floating around anyways so though more likely, it is still impossible to confirm.

Until JJ himself says that its "Overnight" i'm gonna be skeptical. He even said he wanted the U.S. to have its own original monster.....why not make the name of the monster the title of the movie? imo

Yeah, these days if you make a movie, you've got to hire someone to create a documentary during its shooting, thinking ahead to home releases... so don't assume that any person with a camera is filming the movie, even if it looks high-quality.

Markers?

Anyone notice any markers on the buildings?

They need reference points for the CG people. Unless it's purely an aftermath shoot and no monster will be shown.

Also I had mentioned that it was about 1.1 miles from roughly where Rob and his gang are to the Orchard St. location.

However, sometimes they shoot all over the city and act like everything is in roughly the same neighborhood.

Williamsburg Bridge

I live right by the bridge on the Williamsburg side...

I'll let you guys know if they shoot near there.

They've shot alot of movies in my hood over the past year. American Gangster with Denzel was probably this biggest production so far.

it was definitely a part of the film - the extras were in character, the reporter and cameraman were standing directly in the center of the set, the film's crew "locked it up" before shooting this specific scene...all signs it's legit, not just something for a making-of documentary.

the sight of the extras raising their hands really got to me...it seemed as if they were beaten, bloody and tired but still willing to do what it takes to stop the city from suffering another attack. so i'm guessing in the film's reality, the terror attacks on 9/11 exist.

p.s. i apologize for the "confirmed title" hoopla...got a little eager.

Let me quote another line:
Quote:
A source has said, "What are the odds that a lawyer (Jackoway) who represents Abrams would register a trademark using the attorney of record who registered Slusho (Boatright)? Further googling shows no previous connection between Boatright and Jackoway."

Now let me point you to his source - it's US:

So, NOT confirmed, and definitley not journalism.

Confirmed or not, "Overnight" is a badass title for this movie.

So I got a bunch of footage of the shoot last night but I just don't think I should be putting it online. When it comes to spoiling people on scenes, its not really my idea of a cool thing to do.

I had no problem showing pictures from the set but the actors were literally sitting on their chairs right in front of my apartment and then running over to the extras to film when the camera started rolling.

I have some footage from downstairs as well and was surprised to see that they were showing "dailies" right there on the street. "Dailies" are basically raw, uncut, unedited, "un-put together" footage but still...

I'm sure nothing I have on video would "spoil" anything for anyone but I can't bring myself to host the actual scenes being shot. I'm sure someone else will have footage at some point...

Anyways, all the best and thanks for all the kudos.
