There's other video from last night

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6Tzq_xbS9A

During actual filming it looks like.

What I find always interesting is how quiet movie sets actually are.

i live on the Lower East Side as well and they are filming tonight. I live on Monroe St, which is next to the Brooklyn Bridge, and they have some Paramount Trucks that are setting up this morning. They have takin up about 3 large streets where i live. The posters said that the Movie was called Chocolate Outrage at first but then it was changed to Cheese so i'm 100% sure its Cloverfield or whatever you want to call it. I'll try to keep you guys updated on what happens

Awesome. I'm pretty close and have a camera and the night off so would be interested in filming some more stuff. Do you see any debris anywhere or set posters? If you can clue me in on where to go, I'll be there and get some more videos/pictures up.

Cloverfan, do you know where PS 1 park is because they are filming right in front of it? It is a few blocks below Chinatown towards South Street.

When I called last night around midnight, the guy who answered said, "Production, this is Andrew."

Since I had expected some recording so late, and being a total noob, I simply hung up.

Patients? I'm no doctor. Laughing Are you referring to the video posted yesterday?

yeah- it says more is coming today. But there is spec that it may not even be tied to 11808.

did you notice the scientists/doctors at the end??? Shocked
I'm guessing (if it is related to the film) that's apart of the ending - perhaps the government captures the monster and keeps it for research...

***Sounds like the phone # is the on set contact***

I'm on the fence about it being tied to the movie or not. I was under the impression, and it could be wrong, that the people we've been introduced to thus far will all die in the movie. That doesn't mesh with the group huddling in to the chopper. It would be kind of chEEsy if we all think they're dead after watching the play back, and then, oh..nope...here they are (minus one or two).

I do agree it would be part of the end.

Damn.

I'll get out my D70 tonight and try to shoot some images from the Brooklyn side. I have roof access.

True- the cheese would stink if we got a nice Hollywood ending... but there's no telling if the group being rushed to the chopper is Rob & Co. There wasn't any camera man running with or even placed around the chopper... not that I could see anyway.

we'll see. And are they waiting until after lunch to post this "amazing spy footage"?? Or has paramount all ready serviced papers.

on set..

I was on the Orchard/Stanton set pretty much the entire time last night, very interesting to see first hand. From what I'd witnessed, they were shooting a mock, live news piece - reporter, interviews, frightened, dirty, bloody citizens, etc. I couldn't really hear all of what was exchanged between the reporter and whom he was interviewing, but the action was odd..at one point it seemed as if he'd asked the entire group a question, then grandually more and more extras would raise their hands..as if they were volunteering for something...very dramatic.

Raising their hands volunteering for something or maybe answering the question? Could the question have been; "Who here has drank more than 6 Slusho's?" Shocked
