Score one for me! I know where the next 401 site is already and its just gone live.

Proof you say? This time when you set your system clock ahead to get the timer to zero out, you are greeted with the message :

"You gotta really wait til the timer runs out! =P"

Edit : Also, why is this hand drawn Houdini so damn hairy? It must have taken a considerable amount of time to draw in all that leg fur.

Really? I don't have the administrative priviledges to eff with my system clock (Hence, the reason why it's always an hour late -.-) but if the 401 team really had the guts to put that there...

I'll have lol'd.
Since its not terribly obvious, on the first site, you need to help Houdini. To do so, there is a brown text box where you have to enter a password. Getting the correct password leads you to the next site with the timer. Get it wrong and Houdini drowns.

I was referring to the "You really gotta wait!" thing, but... since you bring that up...

Are there any concequences to letting Houdini drown, or is it just to tell you "HAHA, j00 phail"?

Also, by "First site," do you mean
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
houdinismoon
or, literally the first site, http://www.43475359616771.com/ ?

EDIT: Still haven't been able to mess with the clock, but, after reviewing 401wtf, it'd have been nice for them to put a less obvious password. Seriously.

Another EDIT: Looks like I'm the fool, then Razz

He means neither of those sites. He's talking about the new ones that are to be found after the show tonight.

What password are you talking about?

No, I mean the next two sites that no one has found yet. I know no one has found them because they were domain parked up until about 3pm EST and then went live. Most people won't figure out the first new site until the show airs tonight. Then you have to solve a puzzle to get to the next new site.

The same password he referenced, on this page that the rest of us without admin privledges won't get to see for a few hours.

Pity. I was going to have a poll later on to see how many people reasonably deducted that, and how many people guessed Razz I suppose that's a bit invalid, then.

So, if you can't see the page how could you know the password. Which you have wrong there, too? Shocked You have me confused, dear sir.

Yes, yes. I let my arrogance get ahead of me for a bit, is all. Stop rubbing it in Razz

Won't happen in the future, though!

The question is ... if the last show is on tonight ... why is this next counter counting down to next Tuesday?

I don't think the last episode is on tonight. According to the TV guide on my digital cable box, there's only 1 episode of 401 tonight, bringing the total to seven episodes out of 8

Your cable box and TVguide.com need to get together then and make up their minds.

Hmmmm... my box says that "Scarred" is on at that time...

Well, I suppose we'll just have to wait and see.

So, were there two episodes last night or no? I don't have cable so I can't watch the show as it airs.

I've tried going through this thread and seeing things chronologically, but it makes it hard when people browse directories and post information out of sequence.

On the despoiler wiki I have posted what information I know thus far. If you edit the page I would appreciate it if you could keep it in the best chronological order you can. Thanks!
