Well, it certainly fits thematically with what we've been given. Most think its a steg. However, no one can seem to figure the method they used if it is hiding something. If you have the time, see what you can find. Maybe you'll catch something we missed.

 		YAY! New video on the website!

Keep clicking on the stomach and it leads you to a video of a guy doing what can only be called reverse situps. There also sounds like there's audio buried on the low end of the frequency spectrum. I'll see if I can't pull that out.

There's also a link to a Google Map of Mr. Houdini's final resting place.

Edit : seems as if they're using a new account too. g3b4j34 on blip.tv

That's not Houdini with the "hilter-esque" moustache. That's Roland Garros and the date indicated by the file name is the date he first used a sync'ed machine gun to shoot through his propeller. He went on to become a French national hero and one of the first real fighter pilots.

The name of the other picture indicates the official years of WWI. Its a WWI propaganda poster.

What either of these pics has to do with anything is something we haven't been able to figure out for a week. We were hoping for some answers after the timer ran out, but it looks like we'll be waiting till at least the airing of Room 401 EST.

Edit : I see your trick Aiobhan. You're trying to get me to think I'm insane by quoting imaginary posts.

Yeah, keep clicking it. Each time you do, its an enlargement of the previous pic until it yields the video.

This audio is a booger. Its reversed in the video track and its a speech to text synth, meaning its already dodgy as is. I can barely make out wtf he's saying.

I'll reverse it, but you still can't understand it. I've been working on that for a bit now.

So far, I could make out what sounds like:

Ehrich had.... towards animosity to innocent 'til had (ratted? or something that sounds like it) to woman magic... 1913 ... 1977.

Ehrich Weiss was Houdini's name until he officially changed it to Harry Houdini in 1913. It is said that he had great animosity to ward his brother Leopold, because he believed Leopold contributed to his mother's death.

That's the extent of my speculation.

You don't think it means specifically which grave it is, right? That would be sort of...

By the way, did anyone TiVo the show or anything like that? During the laundromat part, I noticed a paper with "401" written in big letters, but the show moved on before I could make out anything else...

And of course, there are probably the freeze-frames like in the other episodes...

Edit : I'm working with a slightly different version than what I posted, here's what I get when going over it word by word.

"Erich kept a decent or slight animosity to innocent who had managed to ruin the magic stomach. Take a minute, will you, and rest on if it will blend ten fourteen time times seventy seven hundred and seven."

It might even be Derrick at the beginning. Erich makes more sense though. If you want this file, let me know.

I would like to have your latest version, I've been trying to figure out that audio as well. I've been posting my thoughts over at http://401wtf.wikispaces.com and I think we might just figure this out.
401WTF is kinda a bad layout for a forum, but the wiki is awesome.

Here's the file I spoke of. I spent a lot of time trying to add some realistic cadence and tempo to the voice. That's something computers have a hard time replicating, but is necessary for intelligibility. After a bit more tweaking this morning I think my translation is a bit off here and there, but still more correct than most things I've seen posted. I'll work on a tweaked translation. Everyone take a listen and tell me what you think.
