Yeah, people on there start their bids low and charge a good bit for shipping. But I'm just going for the lowest total price so ebay is still the best.
I think miss. Jo Brown must be selling on there too. Someone is asking $114.99 for two posters and a shirt

I ordered a shirt yesterday, and I plan on wearing it on Jan 18th to the movie . The shipping was about $4. I think they might put another "clue" or whatever in with the Slusho merch because that would be awesome...although the shirt alone is still really cool .

What we're curious about is what your credit card statement will say as far as who the charger is.
I paid with a check card...the charge showed up almost immediately...the biller was a company that does merchandising for a lot of companies including a few movie studios (didn't write down the name)...but...the charge isn't there anymore. Which is incredibly odd. I encourage anyone else to log-in to their online accounts for their credit cards to see if they were charged for it. I don't understand why my order would be canceled...they couldn't have run out...I was order #1015 and I'm pretty sure they started at #1000 since I bought it within hours of the store going up. It seems their customer service sucks if they're not responding to e-mails about orders so it looks like they won't be telling me whether or not my order was canceled and why. I'm not about to order another one and end up getting charged twice though. Also, I tried logging in to the store, but it says my e-mail address isn't valid. I'm not sure if I ordered without registering if that's possible, or if registration was even an option at the time.
Anyone having similar issues? Or NOT having similar issues for that matter, since nobody has gotten their merch yet.

Actually, I just noticed that it disappeared from my card, too. That's really strange. Maybe we should email the customer service about it?

Hey all, been following the forum since the begining of "Cloverfield", but first time post.
Just wanted to also confirm the deletion of the charge from my check card for my Slusho order. I was order #1052.
Hmmm, who has the lowest order number????

Your credit card was probably authorized but not yet charged until we have shipped. Your order will ship very soon! Thanks for contacting Slusho!
That's the email I got in reply.

Are you sure it wasn't Cthulhu?
Seriously, I've had that happen a lot of times and I finally asked a company why they do that - a lot of companies (especially online companies) will do a "test charge" meaning they bill your account and then refund it when it is ready to ship. They do that to cut back on the amount of bull$sh!t orders they get. You would be surprised how many people order stuff online that they have the inability to pay for, only to leave the online company stuck and holding the tab when their group buy comes to the door.
