Seriously, I've had that happen a lot of times and I finally asked a company why they do that - a lot of companies (especially online companies) will do a "test charge" meaning they bill your account and then refund it when it is ready to ship. They do that to cut back on the amount of bull$sh!t orders they get. You would be surprised how many people order stuff online that they have the inability to pay for, only to leave the online company stuck and holding the tab when their group buy comes to the door.


Amazon usually only charges when they ship via ground; your bank may still put a hold on your account once the amount is approved (sometimes they have minimum holds that are more than what you would pay, often around $50), and they almost always put a hold on if you use a debit card.

I think Amazon can afford to eat the cost versus some of the smaller suppliers. Despite the fact that 50 or so people on this forum want some of the gear, the people that run the Slusho store are probably waiting for hundreds of orders before proceeding.

Good news, did you order a hat or a shirt?

I just ordered a shirt. I assume everyone who ordered on the 27th should be shipping today.

 		i got one of the black shirts. i can't wait to get it. though i'm fully only expecting the shirt it would be cool if there were some little extras of some kind.

Yeah, same here with the extras. Perhaps a Slusho sticker or something. I ordered the "asphalt" (aka Gray) shirt.

So who is wearing it to the movie? I will probably be "that guy"

 		I'll definitely be ordering shortly...and wearing it on 1-18. I didn't know they'd actually do that and I am wondering if they were always going to offer shirts or if that little impromptu tshirt request I suggested early on had anything at all to do with it, with enough people actually following through but I'm tickled they decided to.
