I'm going to try and make this one today - will keep you updated!
Edit - emato: My last apt ended at 7pm and it's 2+ hours to Sarasota. I was really - REALLY hoping to be there. I wanted to get the book and have him sign --- if nothing else. I'm really disappointed.

Just finished reading The Genesis Code... Just finished reading The Genesis Code. Great roller-coaster adventure... smart... a real page-turner! I'm not going to get into much in the way of details, but I will say that it was exciting to recognize passages, characters, situations, etc. from what we've seen here in the ARG.
And, I'm really hoping we can draw Quiz Goertz back into the action!

I finished it too. (mailman brought it this afternoon.)
GREAT Read. Makes you think and would like to be a little more in depth. Maybe book #2 is a sequel?!?!?!?!?! (hint-hint nudge-nudge)
Also may be some future code breaking hints.

An offer to you, and to anyone else who can't make it to a live signing - assuming I can make it to the NYC appearance (date TBD), I'd be happy to bring your book for Chris to sign - all it will cost you is postage....

TG page I think this is new to the TG site - but not to some who received the photo via emial way back.
On the main page at the end of the paragraph about What Are Genetic Markers - there is a new clickable link to an 'old' picture now as a puzzle.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It's the back and blue Caduceus/Rod of Asclepius image

Oh, thanks for the offer GlitteringGold to take the book for signing when he goes to NY. I'm on my way out to pick it up now.

Another, very minor change to the site is the text associated with the Press Release link. Instead of "PRESS RELEASE 7-26-2007", it now reads, "PRESS RELEASE #4320"

Great read! My eyes hurt from reading it straight through, but worth it. I agree with GG about having Quiz involved in the game!

New post on livejournal.... Men in Black at Barnes and Noble? Maybe that's why the three B&N's nearest me didn't have the book (or it could be because they NEVER ORDERED IT, as the clerk explained to me!) Oh well... lucky for me Borders did have a copy - but no MIBs.

It might be a good idea to review the previous clues and do some additional research on the information left behind in Dr. Ambergris's journal entries.
Did we miss something on the Triad Genomics site?

Well, there's the recent appearance of the puzzle for the caduceus/kerykeion , which is tied to the Greek god, Hermes(Roman god, Mercury) and the possible relation (via Mercury) to Scorpius.
There's the somewhat disconnected posting of the picture from Vase # K1185 of the Justin Kerr collection in the Mayan Vase Database depicting Hunahpú & Xbalanqué as scribes. Possibly a link to the Popol Vuh ?
And there's the 432x10
n
references all over the site that I've previously said will have us chasing our tails so much, I'm not gonna explore it any further.
Did reading the book shed any new light on any of those?
