Wow, 4 pages since I left work.

Okay, I think I'm caught up.

I think we're on the right track with the blog/MSP. His quote is "08/01", I'm not sure how relevant that , or even if it is; we did get the lead on 8/2.

English and Creative writing are necessary for an ARG, bu8t there are a few errors I don't someone will a degree in both would make.

Quote:
This was not the eyes of children.

That should read more like "These were not the eyes of children".

And the location discrepancies when "Jake" first mentions Minburn, He says it's in Iowa, then Ohio, and finally Iowa.

Flash Player

I just noticed that the Map image on the site in in flash player. I dont have a program to capture off of Flash. If someone else does and can capture the image and send it to me, I'll get to work on it. Otherwise I'll have to print it and scan it in, which will SERIOUSLY degrade the quality. Low quality means I wont be able to run contrasts and lighting filters on it with much success.

I'm still ponging(a term i made up, referencing the game pong. In this case i'm knocking decisions back and forth) between good and bad...

I guess he/she's bad because he/she barely gives us anything to do...

but he/she is pretty good at keeping us occupied when he/she DOES give us something to solve...

I really don't think it's fair to judge a PM this early. it's been what? two days?
So far we're doing well and making progress we have no idea of the grand scheme to this yet nor it's scope. Once we have at least that much then we'll be able to make an informed opinion. The IP addy in the barcodes was a pretty simple thing, but they had us looking at everything but. That's quite a feat.

Cool Beans, peace

I tend to agree. The IP clue was right there, waiting to be found. It's still early but, ALOT of loose ends floating around.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY HATE ALL OF YOU GUYS!!!!!

lol jk... but u do SUCK, cuz when i left there was about 18 pages and I was on top of my game... now im stuck on the bench again!!!!!

aarrggghhh...u wait and see... u wait and see.. lol ok.. time to go over the MILLIONS of posts...

(one thing to make this thread easier to read, could we keep the chit-chat to a minimun? 32 pages of info and alot of it is two word posts. Im not sayin that all of it is, because alot of it is extremely credible info, but it would make it easier to go back and reference older posts if there werent so many trivial ones.. i mean no offense to anyone by this, it just makes it hard to read thats all... yafeelme?)

aaanyways... reading time... oh ya and one more thing..

U ALL SUCK! Razz

EDIT: looking back, I realize I may be guilty of such a thing myself, but it is easier to deal with when theres say, 15 pages, rather than 32...yafeelme? lol if im outta line just smack me or something..

Choice is the Revolution's new quote is "Believe". I think we've got an IG character...unless it's another game altogether.

Well, the fact that the web page panned out will teach me to give up a lead without posting it here...kudos to the person who suggested the numbers were an IP address and more kudos to whoever followed through on it.

JohnLRusso's blog mentions the New American movement.

Wikipedia has this to offer:
Quote:
New American Movement (NAM) was founded in 1971 by a group of leaders of opposition to the Vietnam War to serve as a forum for discussing where and how to redirect their activities. The call to convene was issued by Michael Lerner. Lerner became distant from the organization shortly after it was founded and went on to start the magazine Tikkun.

In its early years, NAM shared much of the political framework of the New Communist Movement, but rejected the strategy of building a "vanguard party", a position prominent NAM members held in a debate in the pages of the National Guardian. By the early 1980s, after a great change in the American political climate and the departure of some of its more radical members, NAM had moved away from these positions and adopted a more traditionally social democratic outlook, culminating in a merger with the Democratic Socialist Organizing Committee in 1982 to form the Democratic Socialists of America. [1] At this time NAM claimed 2,500 members[2].

Richard Healey had been a leader of NAM since its founding in 1971. After his mother Dorothy Healey resigned from the Communist Party USA in 1973[3] he worked on recruiting her to NAM, which she joined in 1974. In 1975 she joined Richard on NAM's national interim committee, and later became a vice chair of DSA in 1982.[4] Barbara Ehrenreich was also a prominent NAM member[citation needed]. The journal Socialist Review and the newspaper In These Times were associated with NAM.

His latest post also mentions that he had a "7" tattoo appear on his arm after a dream in which he was instructed:
Quote:
When the Seven is doubled it becomes one. On that day the new messenger will arrive and he will lead the sheep against the might of the lion. Although the Lion has his mighty sword, the heart of the few begin their stand."

So something happens 8/14?

This sounds way more Biblical than the Mayan stuff we were originally given, but the Red Cloud link seems pretty explicit.

Steganography is used to hide other information/images in pictures. When I said MS images, I meant MySpace. This guy has a lot of pictures on his MySpace with no explanation for them. In odd places, i.e. "Who I'd like to meet."

I actually ran Steg on the images today, and found two showing positive. They are-

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/1922/darkmatternw2.jpg - this is the second image down in his "Movies" MySpace section. And

http://tinyurl.com/24tpvb (URL WAY too long) - this is the second in his "Pics" folder(under his main image, or avatar, I guess).

Both pics show positive 3 stars at 1.00 detection level. Now to try to find a pass phrase. It's not redcloud or red cloud. Gotta find more clues!

EDIT: Tried stegbreak, can't get it to work- anyone else care to try?
