So it is SL Dublin in the park at 17.30 GMT on August 26th? Will anyone be going to the actual RL locations?

I'm getting pretty excited about this, i'm even staying in my rented flat instead of going home for the bank holiday weekend as my computer can cope with second life better, lol.

damnit lol when me and stary first search dublin (in SL) together, I was standing at the gates of this park but I didnt go in... oh well, there was no way to really tell this was important anyways... im in the park right now if ya wanna say hi!

has there been anything found here?

EDIT: Ok, so 2 days from now we have to be in this park, unless we can go to the RL locations, am i right? sorry if this is a trout, there was alot of info to process...

and I would like to thank Stary for keeping me updated in SL (inventory sends, etc.) if it werent for you, id be even more behind than I am already... so thanks stary and have fun, we'll see u soon!

EDIT2: Dont forget "Pixel Humping: For Dummies" ! lol I love that title..

Everything has changed so rapidly since I first started coming here, i KNEW I should have come to the house more often, I just got frustrated that all the puzzles didnt have one specific answer. Now I see the reason for doing that.. it was tell us

The Where and When of this SL convention/meeting/ whatever you want to call it... in 2 days!

Ill see ya there folks!

QUESTION: I hope this isnt a trout, but what do you guys think is behind the meaning of all the "Flags of our Father" copies in the house? There is also an Agatha Christie book titled "The Murder of Roger A.. (cant read the rest)"

is this just random stuff?

Interesting
sorry for the dbl post

upon my descent from the giant keyboard to the land below, I saw a building about mid-way down. (Metaversatility 59, 196, 399). This weirdly shaped house has a mug on the patio called "pillow talk" as well as a flags of our fathers book on the coffee table... i just got here, ill edit and update you if i find anything. You should check this out though, for the hell of it..

UPDATE: OK, I figured out that this place is called:

"Adri Saarinen's Skybox"

Ive seen this name on a bunch of things inside the nines house... must be a programmer of some sort

Yea, I think I posted that a while ago. Along with this one: Metaversatility / 99 / 55 / 258

They are pretty cool. The Eye of Sauron is floating around there somewhere too. Smile

Adri Saarinen (Adrienne Haik) is part of the Metaversatility team.

Hello all. Been lurking in this thread for a while, but haven't actually been participating, due to me never finding any interest in Second Life, for some reason or another. Perhaps I'm afraid it'll devour my time and my soul XD

Anyhow, it might interest you all to know that Gabriel has a new post on his blog, containing nothing more than the following message:

I think it's rather obvious what the message here is.

P.S.: How did you find Gabriel's blog, anyway? I found a link to it earlier in this thread, but couldn't figure out how to find it outside of cheating.

For those that weren't there, we got free 'The Nines' t-shirts! In-world and in real life.

Ps. smooth and stary: I believe wildfire gave them your emails, so you should be getting an email sometime about your t-shirts also. Smile

It was no problem i mean we had all worked it out together and you guys deserved it too!. No i haven't had an email yet, give it a couple of days and if nothing then IM Colleen as she was organising it all. I guess she might be busy at the moment.

Well there were alot of people but alot didn't seem to know why they were there...they were asking what the nines was and what was happening so maybe there was just a notice saying to meet in the park at that time.

Didn't see any of the programmers that we had been talking to, there were some metaversatility people such as Colleen there who were giving out SL t-shirts for our SL character to wear (pretty cool!)

John August showed up to thank everyone for coming and taking part which was nice of him to do!

Here's hoping we get our emails soon, if the t-shirts are like the SL ones they will say "is that all there is?" on the front and on the back The Nines - lookforthenines.com. I guessing if we had gone to the RL locations they would have been handing them out there, woo. Smile
