What Greek!!
There is nothing to do untill he tells us.. He is waiting on Kendra.

PMs, as a rule, never really say what the players have to do to advance the plot. He gives us everything and we have to struggle and writhe around until we get it. Maybe we need to do something because Kendra's taking so long. If there's an unsolved clue (like the double-headed bird in Cameron's pics), then we need to get on it. It's not like we don't have time.

2nd Chance, you might be right. I'll try to find the right symbols and put them into a translater. Or just try a Greek alphabet. Maybe it relates to the map...which is why we couldn't find it in San Francisco.

EDIT: Okay, no luck on the translation stuff (I have no skill in Greek), but I did find out that the double-headed EAGLE (not bird) was a symbol of the old Byzantine empire. So, it is in Greece. I guess just start looking for town coat-of-arms with the double-headed eagle.

Right might be right or wrong.. I will email cameron and ask him about his pictures...

The photo tag says "Cyprus." That would go with the photo, which I'm guessing is looking over the fence at the UN buffer zone between Greek and Turkish areas. Here's a map of Cyprus. At first glance, I don't see any place in Cyprus that seems to match the Mystery Map.

The double-headed eagle is reminiscent of the coat of arms for Montenegro, or Albania.

Woah, totally missed the Cyprus tag. Guess I kinda went off half-cocked. Embarassed

I found more info on the mine car. I'd post info, but I'll keep it condensed and post a link.

well i tried the translation, but i couldnt get anything. either i screwed up, or it isnt actually greek. altho i think i just messed up. anyone else wanna try?

EDIT: i checked out that link on the mining machine. it says there were closures mainly in certain areas, one being scotland. the machine says "scottish north area." is there some other meaning of closure of which im unaware, or is this possibly a clue/coincidence?

Smile we're trying to translate the text on the top of the shield-type-thing with the multi-head bird.

Translation

Hmm...does anyone know anyone who happens to know greek? Friends, family, casual aquaintances? This might be the time to go outside and ask for help on this. I sent a message to the Greek Embassy a while back, but they haven't responded to me. Mad

I havent quite got started on this one but I recieved my message for a relative. When I saw this image I have a friend from that part of the world and thought I would ask him what it says. He knows the alphabet its written in but couldn't read it? Here is his response perhaps it will help.

Quote:
As for the alphabet i can read the whole thing but dont know if its correct. It looks, romanian, greek or maybe even bulgarian...Go online dictionary and try typing this s--- in.Might be connected to the family crest since thats the image, eagles seen in western and eastern europe, powerfull families and that whole mason bulls---.

Greek

Hi folks,

Babelfish is your friend. The writing on the photo says

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
ΕΘΝΙΚΗ ΦΡΟΥΡΑ, which means "NATIONAL GUARD". The two-headed eagle is the symbol of the Cypriot national guard.
