I don't know, I don't think it's bullshit at all.
I've been waiting for Stardust to come out for awhile, since first hearing rumors about the new Cloverfield trailer attached to it a couple of weeks ago.
It's a movie I would have probably watched anyways, seeing as how it's based on a story by Neil Gaiman. Looks cool.

It's not in the wikipedia article anymore.
Just keep in mind that anybody can add anything.

The only basis of those rumors was that Stardust is a Paramount movie. Yes, it's likely that when the next trailer is released it will first be shown before a Paramount movie. But there's been no indication that Stardust would be that movie. More likely, it'll be an action movie rather than a fantasy.

Dunno; Neil Gaiman gets hard play from a lot of the same types as the LOSTies and it's going to be closer to action/fantasy. Not saying that's an indicator either.

Sorry, but I have to call bullshit. The scenes filmed in Coney Island were of the kids playing and having fun. They take place before the party. No scenes of destruction and chaos were reported to be filmed there.
The article in the NY Post that reported the Coney Island filming also interviewed NY1 reporter Roma Torre, not because she was in Coney Island (she wasn't), but because she was in the first teaser.
Yes, another trailer will be released soon, but probably not for another month or two. Stardust started advanced screenings last week...if there was another teaser in front of it, Moriarty of AICN would have reported it when he posted reviews.
whats your source for the kids having fun thing?
also. . . well yeah there was no filming of a huge explosion or an entire ride being thrown in flames at the crew because thats not really there, also just because it wasn't reported dosn't mean it didn't happen.

I agree. AICN is deep into the Hollywood scene, and they get info and news before anyone (sorry UnFictioners - Hollywood prefers reviews over a pack of nerds looking for hints on green tea boxes).

You mean like...I don't know...Slusho, or the "Overnight" name trademark, or maybe where in NYC the film is currently shooting, or actual on set photos and video, or the newest filming name being Cheese , or the myspace pages?
While the boys over at AICN have been sitting back and waiting for the hotline to JJ to ring, it's been the unFictioners (and those on other boards as well) who've done the heavy lifting and dug up the overwhelming majority of this stuff.

It's that hard work that's also getting picked up by places like AICN which either have credit given to them by people who don't know better, or they go out and take credit that isn't theirs.
So yeah, give Unfiction and forums their due as they aren't completely out of the loop.

I hope it isn't true because NOW I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENS!
When the second trailer does come out, make a thread called second trailer no spoilers, and say what movie it's shown before. Don't give a complete description. Please?

Did anyone see Stardust this weekend? I'm surprised nobody rushed out on opening day just for the possibility of a second Cloverfield trailer.

They shot several scenes at Deno's Wonder Wheel, a scary swinging Ferris Wheel in which patrons ride in cages as they look out over Brooklyn. They also went on the Scooter bumper cars, played some ticket-stub games in the arcade, and rolled some skee ball.
Obviously if they destroyed the wheel it would have to be CG and not necessarily any real destruction, but there'd at least have to be scenes of people running and screaming...there are several residences nearby, I think someone would have heard the commotion and it would have been reported. And obviously such a scene wouldn't feature Rob and his friends since they would not take time to play skee ball while running from a giant creature.

Unless the running and screaming was done in front of a green screen
