Were you referring to me? If so did I do something wrong? I just thought it was a good point.

I was refering to the guy that posted the trailer info on Wiki, it might be a mole from inside of Paramount, but don't get your hopes up.

I'm gonna chalk the 'second trailer' up as bupkiss for the moment.
Firstly the fact being it's Wikipedia, and we've already seen plenty of people trying to sully the water for us. Furthermore, weren't the Coney Island scenes shot at daytime and serving as a flashback?
I think someone, either accidentally assumed that this was for a second trailer or has deliberately tried to make it sound it was for a second trailer when in fact it wasn't.

Coney Island distance Wow the monster would be every where if it also showed up at Coney Island wich is pretty far away from the major part of New York where Rob party is at and Besides if it were at coney island first don't you think it would be on the news before it made it to the statue of liberty and so on

It's not so far fetched that there would be more trailers, ESPECIALLY if this is indeed an ARG of JJ's doing, there have been plenty of movies with more than one trailer.

I think it's been stated quite a few times that the coney island footage was related to a FLASHBACK scene, meaning BEFORE THE MONSTER!!!

Did you read the first post?
Quote:
On 08/03/07 a second mysterious teaser trailer was reveled before special advanced screenings of the upcoming Paramount film "Stardust". The trailer appears to be a live news feed of a tv news crew filming in front of the Wonder Wheel on Coney Island when an unexpected explosion accures in the background , the news woman urges the crew to keep filming as they turn their camera in the direction of the explosion.A loud roar is heard but the source never seen but the camera does catch a flaming Wonder Wheel flying in the crews direction just before it blinks out. The film has no title and the trailer ends with the date of 01-18-08 then a "Roar" followed by the words "The Countdown Has Begun"
Sounds like a monster carring on cranky to me ...
... If the discription of the trailer, if it exists, is true.

I distinctly remember reading that the 2nd teaser would air with Stardust August 10th at least a couple of weeks ago. However, that same info said that the official trailer will air with Bee Movie (which is rated PG, and is a Dreamworks movie, so it doesn't make much sense). This guy is probably rehashing old rumors with some brand new ones.
Search for it, that old story is somewhere on this forum.

Ahhh, yess. I used to work for paramount (bad time to leave? haha).
They've merged with Dreamworks.
So, anticipate some 1-18-08 stuff with dreamworks pics.

I'm surprised this wasn't specifically pointed out before, because wasn't TF a Dreamworks film? That's where we got the first one.

I think you're right. I distinclty remember the stars flying by with various TF sounds for the paramount logo, but I'm pretty sure I also remember the Dreamworks appearing through the clouds with similar sounds.
