[OOG(maybe)] Jensen, not Jason

First of all, i live in México, i'm Mexican.

Ok, i went to see Transformers and watched the trailer, but did not pay attention to subtitles in the trailer. Las night, i went to see a movie called "El Búfalo de la Noche" (something like "The Night's Buffalo") and they aired the trailer, now i payed some attention to the subtitles. In the part where everybody is outside the building and someone is asking for jason, the subtitles did not read Jason, but Jensen.

I believe they have the script to the trailer so they can translate it and put the subtitles on.

Try using the search feature at the top of the page. Searching for Jenson gets you this: link

Or, you can check out this thread and read through a bit: link

Thanks for posting, though, and welcome.

Also, what was "The Night Buffalo" about? Sounds pretty nifty, in a really bizarre way.

Actually the OP brings up a good point which was not discussed in the thread/search listed above.

The subtitles, which were probably produced by the studio, would have the official translation of any spoken words.

The specualtion in the above thread/seach was that it 'sounded' like Jenson, however this time we get it written out for us what was said.

btw . . . is it a lion that's huge????

Do you think a subititled version of the trailer exists on the net somewhere??

I believe this is the first time anyone's confirmed that the teaser is being shown before a film other than Transformers. Since, however, The Night Buffalo is being distributed by Fox, I think this was just an error on the part of the theatre where the movie was shown (or Paramount is less strict about marketing out of the US).

There are theaters that provide open-captioning for the deaf. Open-captioning is accurate as the subtitles are burned right to the print by the studio. There are open captioned trailers available online, but I haven't been able to find this one...yet.

for dear

this would be a better idea since during translation much is lot from english to spanish so an cc for the deaf would be indeed great

And yeah, BTW, "Está vivo! Es enorme!", wich means "It's alive, it's huge"...

Doubtful, seeing as we have confirmation that one of the main characters is named Jason (via the official MySpace profiles as well as the names on the actors' trailers on set).
