I would like to know if the bottle was supposed to actually be hidden somewhere? I thought It was in Notre Dame. What did you guys think? I also thought the Keepers were Beekeepers. OK now I probably really sound crazy! Embarassed

I thought the bottle was hidden in the catacombs in London near the Westminster Abbey and that the Keepers had formed out of a secret group that had formed when perfume was first introduced, called the "glovers" or "glovemakers", etc. Back in the day, gloves stunk because they were made of real leather...that's why perfume was initially invented in France, so that ladies had a genteel way to present themselves while wearing gloves. That's why the perfume center of the world was Grasse, France...because it was a really big glove-making town!

Cool, huh?

Now I'm a dork!!! I learned all of this since the game began!!! LOL Laughing

Nah...you're not a dork!

Did you know why the leather smelled so badly? It was "cured" with urine! Stinky huh?!?

I watched it last night! You're right it was very weird. I like horror movies but it was still a strange movie.

Katygmorris I loved your interpretation of where the bottle was! It's interesting to hear how you investigated the story. Here's my thought process on why I thought the Keepers Group were Beekeepers.

It started after Challenge 6 when we found the heart of London and the question was Breathe in with your blank, answer: heart. Bees breathe through air tubes along the sides of the body (put very simply). So I thought it was close to breathing through your heart. And there were lots of bee references in Melisande's blogs. 9/15 Blog "See right through the Keeper's veil." 9/18 Blog He may lead The Keepers but under no circumstances do I take orders from that bumbling bloke." (And The Keepers is supposed to be a hobby not a job!) 9/26 You catch more flies with honey, no?" And, albeit limited, the information we have thus far about Kovacs suggests that he's one fly guy who appreciates a darling honey like myself. So in the heart of London there is a Beekeepers society! The London Beekeepers Association. And beekeeping is usually a hobby. Their base and apiary is at Roots and Shoots http://www.rootsandshoots.org.uk/how-to-find-us.php I figured that there would be no perfume without the bees that pollinate the flowers.

Edit
I thought Notre Dame was where the bottle was because there is a bell in the bell tower there named Emmanuel bumblebee. But now that I look back in my notes again I think it is in the Pantheon in France. It is a famous burial place. It has tombs underground and Bob Mumford had lots of pictures of it on his myspace page.

I would love to hear how everyone else investigated all the clues and where they think the bottle is!

I thought the bottle was hidden in the jail somewhere because on the "Lucky insert ad", the jail photo it says "Jail cells have many hiding places.

Edited: "The other from a corner office several floors above" and "One in the corner of the cell".

Palm that's true! They also said that two text messages went out one from the corner of a jail cell and the other from a corner office several floors above! Maybe they dumped it right there! You know in Morgaine's favorite movie The Thomas Crown Affair (the original) they hide the stolen money a garbage can!

Yes, the text messages tie it in. I was overthinking it in the beginning until I remembered playing other "product" games; they are usually marketed to the masses - not just ARG people who are used to difficult clues.

I can't believe I am about to admit this...but I got a couple of the answers just by guessing! I guessed "heart" when it said, "breathe in with your". I don't know why, but heart made sense to me.
And I never figured out the lunar stuff on Julian's calendar. I just started typing in the places he had been until one of them worked as the answer!
I suppose that takes some of the fun out of being a sleuth, but I felt a little lazy sometimes and just wanted to figure out the answer!
