Well they've posted the winners for everything else so I would think it would be the same for the big prizes. Plus Tony's blog said that they would wrap up the rest of the story, which they haven't. Though the letter from SJP and that other window that pops up and says the contest has ended does worry me that they're not planning on doing anything else on the website. But they said they would, so they have to!

Just my 2 cents - we've often seen waits at the end for contests with real prizes because of the laws governing contests like this - they're often doing things like verifying the apparent winners really exist and are who they say they are, are over the age of 18, are not citizens of countries or states where contests like this are not allowed or are restricted. Stuff like that. So that may be what is going on here...

If you go to the prize page it says to come back to see who won! I am hoping this will mean that they will actually post an anouncement with the winners.

Um...don't they need addresses and phone numbers to check on anything? They can't just use the agent names and, so far, it appears that none of the agents have been contacted for their "real" information.

So aliendial do you think that they have contacted the winner and are verifying their information?

A Winner Announcement I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I did a real thorough search on google and it seems someone else has already been contacted about being the winner of the grand prize.
See this:

Edited: The winner is named Taminar.
I suppose if she was notified, then the other prizes have been notified as well.

Not to be bitter again, but...it would have been better if someone who actually worked on the challenges had won the prize. By reading that post, it seems like they just stumbled upon the challenge and copied the answers of people on another forum. Total BS if you ask me... I think the Covet people made this unfair for the people who worked hard on each and every challenge...which does not necessarily include me (because I would not have solved all of the challenges on time without help from everyone here). But...I guess everything happens for a reason and I hope he/she really needed the money.

I think you are right - she thanks the people who posted the answers!

sad... I agree. So sad that the winner readily admitted she had heard about it just a day in advance. That is a pretty low blow to all the dedicated people here. I'm sorry guys. It was a fun experience! Let's just hope next time the glitches are worked out. I.E. letting someone enter after the last task is posted

No way. She did it all the night before with someone elses answers? That is the lamest thing I have ever heard. Nevermind the people who have been slaving away at this for the past ten weeks. I cannot believe that happened.
So does this mean the video winners have probably been contacted as well? Can we please have some info Covet people?
