We could ask CM to show Eric the clip where he is putting the 'shovel' (?) in the trunk, & ask him what he did with that object. That would answer for sure whether or not it was a shovel, & if he just buried or someone, or was getting ready to...it doesn't limit it to a timeframe.

I would also like to know waht he meant when he said "Relax, no one knows about this", but it may be something as simple as the affair, & then it would be a wasted q.

Safe to say I enjoyed this one thoroughly. Mary being made fun of AND Eric getting beat up.. at the same time? I once thought it was impossible. Also, by the way, Eric might be the worst fighter of all time.

Anywho, I guess a question I'd ask, although it's already been said, would be who is Russ's biological father. So far it seems like the question that could open up the most doors.

I considered asking "Are you lying about any of these questions?" but then realized that if he wasn't, he'd say no, but if he was, he'd say no. Haha.

I don't think we can afford to be paranoid about what Eric might lie about or not. Have we ever thought before that any of the characters are outright lying? I'm pretty sure they've always just avoided or redirected, but not lied. Wouldn't it sort of screw with the game if we couldn't trust what we come across?

So, though he might choose to refuse to answer, we can't really be paranoid about that either. We have no idea what might be answered or not, but we need to figure out our main questions and treat those answers as clues.

I do like the idea about asking Eric what happened in the months before he was kidnapped, because then we'd also learn more about Sue. But will it be too broad of a question?

I don't think we should bother asking about the shovel or anything.. it's more important to know who killed Sue. If CM killed her and had Eric bury her, then all we're going to hear is "I buried Sue with the shovel" and we still won't know if he killed her or not.

"Why did you tell Sue you were sorry?" And questions like that, I think simply relate back into asking Eric what happened between him and Sue.

I like the idea of finding out what "No one knows about." We could phrase it something like "Eric, your captor keeps showing us videos that have you saying 'Relax, no one knows about this?' What don't we know about?"

"What happened in the month before the kidnapping"

this is definitely a good question that leaves it open enough for Eric to say anything that might relate to Sue or the CM, This one is getting my vote.

Broad, open ended questions like this may be our ticket to alot of useful information and we should stick to these type of questions , rather than simple ones like "who is russ' father" That is a one word answer and even if the answer is, say, the CM... what did we really learn from it that could help us move on? Not too much...

Then again, this could all backfire and Eric could say nothin happened that was special. Remember, Eric may still have no idea why he is kidnapped, so he wont realize what he needs to tell us when it comes to that question... get me?

I still like the question.. but can we word it better? Like:

"In reference to Sue, what happened in your relationship that led you up to this point?"

Just an idea... we could word it even better, im just throwin rough drafts out there..

EDIT: OR we could ask Eric:

"Could you tell us everything you know about Sue?"

this could cover alot of questions that we need answers to. It will also tell us what Eric may or may not know about her.

Mmm, I very much agree with this.

And add in my vote for the "What happened the month before the kidnapping" question. It sounds like it could give us some good new info.

After much lurking, catching up, reading, and watching, it's time I contribute to this. Yay. Smile

In addition to asking about Sue, what about asking about the other man [the CM] Sue was seeing, since it was indeed an affair. What he knew about him if anything. Because usually people talk about other people in their lives and Sue may have said things to Eric about the CM. So then not only would there maybe be info on things between Eric and Sue, but the CM and Sue also. Both sides of the relationship and whatnot.

I hope that made sense. It made more sense in my head than when I typed it. >.<

I like some q's along the lines of those mentioned:

"What do you know about Sue?"

If he didn't kill her, he may not know that she is dead. (If so, he may just say "She is dead.") From this q, we should be able to find out if she was married or not (but we saw no ring 'til the shot of the buried hand), what is the status of her parents (pedigree chart), probably that she has a son, but nothing about Russ' status. Hmmm...thinking about this again...I don't know how useful this might be unless there is a bombshell that we haven't considered.

(?? "What do you know about Russ?" ??)

"What were you doing in your life in the recent months before your kidnapping?"

Hopefully from this q we could get what he was doing for work, & in his personal life. I'm liking this last q more & more.

The what do you know about sue one is good too... though it relies on Sue being honest with Eric...I lived with a lady for 2 years before I found out she was still married... She lied because she knew i wouldn't mess with a married woman. Erics answer would be based on Sues honesty..... I guess i just have trust issues,,I been lied to too much.. and never just trust what comes out of peoples mouths...lol

I think we talked about this yesterday in chat and figured out that it was just the last words splitting in two with the "tv bieng turned off" effect. Does that make sense? I am flippin tired...

I think we should start voting on questions to ask, personally. We're all pretty much wanting to know the same stuff. Maybe we should start voting now, and then narrow down how we ask the qeustions? Like a "rough draft" kinda thing.

I just think the CM wants to tip Eric off as to why he's kidnapped through us. He doesn't know we've seen the videos, right? And the CM said he doubts he'd stop a question from being asked, so any question about the CM seems pointless; Eric obviously doesn't know anymore than us about him in my opinion.
