 		More keys...
Given that the page is called "keys" (plural), I figured there should be more than one...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
After trying alot of other numbers, I reread the Geist/dmax posts about "me" being in a different color on the 307 page. Typing "me" on the keys page takes you to:

which contains more of the 3-0-7 story, AND, if you "select" the page, in the spaces at the bottom are "get" and "give", two more keys!

They take you to:

http://www.three-o-seven.com/ge307.html

which has an e-mail to "nomad" to request more information, and to:

http://www.three-o-seven.com/gi307.html

with an e-mail to send information!?

I send the request e-mail, but have no idea what kind of information might be relevant to send.

 		Interesting NOMAD starts to anagram to DON MA..........?

Also on m307, the words "one would believe" are a different color. Like the "me" on d307.

..............one would believe me? (Maybe No one would believe me?)

I was trying to open ring2 page last night (was taking forever to "load" on a cable modem). This morning it is now just a 404 page (guess the PM "fixed" it).

I first stumbled upon Rene Barjavel's story while in Europe, approximately twelve years ago. In a small old book store I found a copy of the book, buried in the stacks of strange, rare, and eclectic tomes. Something about it intrigued me; I had been searching for "the grand secret" all my life. I bought it.

I read the book in one night. It was fascinating but just a story, a fantasy, after all. The following week, I began having strange dreams. Just little fragments and snippets at first, but then longer and more detailed scenes. They dreams began to haunt me in the days as well, and I became obsessed with their content and discovering their hidden meaning.

So I began to research the things I was seeing and hearing in the dreams. I do not want to go into the details here for many reasons but the dreams were mostly about historical figures, people who were unusually charismatic or gifted in some way. Each of them was a pioneer, a visionary who seemed to "tap into" some invisible source of secret and powerful knowledge. But I didn't just see them, these historical figures. In each dream there were shadowy figures in the background, watching, hovering like vultures above a rotting carcass. And each time, despite the historical figure's knowledge and abilities, there came a time when the shadowy figures moved against them. And then they were gone, leaving behind only a strange symbol, a circle with other dots or circles upon it. There were three on one side, seven on the other, all aligned around the larger "0". For some reason, the first time I saw it, I saw "3-0-7", and I thought of the Barjavel novel.

Soon, my life began taking on an even more surreal aura, as I started to see this symbol outside of my dreams, in places I went during my everyday life. I saw marks and symbols upon the buidling walls around my house, in such a way that it formed a circle around where I lived. And then I began seeing them. The shadowy figures from my dreams, but they were here, in real life, watching me. I tried to tell people - my friends and family, the police - but no one would believe, they thought I was crazy or something.

But I knew I wasn't. And I knew that what I had seen in my dreams was going to happen to me. So I fled, without a word to anyone. And have been running and hiding ever since. I have not contacted anyone from my past and established identity after identity, but still they find me. I do not know how much longer I can stay ahead of them.

I opened the source code here and found ascii numbers, but it only turned out to translate to mailtonomadSPLATthree-o-seven.com (which we already knew).

 		Typing "ONE WOULD BELIEVE" (note that all characters appear as upper case when typed) on the "truth (keys)" page gives "tilt!" as the response. And typing each word individually, or leaving out the spaces, does nothing.

 		you get tilt! when you punch in a lot of wrong letters/answers. perhaps the addition of the spaces leaves out enough input characters that you don't hit that amount geneterating the tilt.

Note, the tilt changes colors when you bring the mouse over it.

I'm continually impressed by the amount of detail in this game. Nice coding, whoever's doing it...

Who the hell is it? A new person?!?!?
Renee De Bushmont - technically, two "e"s mean it's feminine. Google search doesn't find bushmont anywhere. French: bush mountain?

What would that mean? Is the Dale story their construct...and we've been led here to something else?

Or, even better, is this an ad for an upcoming book that will shock the world!!!! Smile

I think the graying of "one would believe," may be an error (which, of course, means its really the key to the entire game!) In the other cases of characters being given a special color they are preceded by a "font" statement giving size and color, and "de-fonted" afterwards. In this case no color is given so it is displaying in the default text color. The color is set after this text, with a double "de-font" later. Also, the comma is included in the grayed text which seems odd. Confused

I think it is just the number of characters entered, Laz. I typed in some garbage and got tilt, did a few other phrases and got tilt as well.

 		I did a bit of searching, but don't have much time. The 3 symbols at the top of the circle "spell" 307. Anyone have an idea what they are? I've only quickly looked at some angel alphabets and alchemical symbols.
