What leads you to blieve this is the key? Any ideas on where to look for a password hint?

why would a photobucket page for a fictional character have a password if it wasn't hiding something important.
I think we need to find what email address the user sarahnettleute registered here page too.
I checked hotmail and "sarahnettleute@hotmail.com" is free.

It wasn't locked when the myspace websites first were discovered.
I think it's more likely that the reason they put a password on afterwards was to tell us that we don't need to be looking into the photobucket.

If you're trying to find out the email address used to register (assuming it is sarahnettleuteSPLAT ____.com) then go to the "forgot user information" part and keep typing in possible email addresses until one goes through. Not sure if that helps anything though, because there's no guarantee that the address matches the user name.

Nettluete is such a bizarre name - I think it's completely made up. If that's true, then it's more likely there's an anagram involved. I know people have already tried running it through anagram sites (I did too), and nothing's come up yet. But, that name just seems too strange. Anyone recognize it?
Any French speaking (or, at least, reading) people want to try looking for anagrams in French? Nettluete sounds vaguely French - my idea is that there might be an anagram in another language that, when translated back into English, could be the password.

Someone also has the username robbyhawkins on photobucket, btw. Also password protected. Possible that this is OOG, though.

People said it roughly translates to "nice people" in German.

Playing with fire only gets you burned. Did anyone stop to think that if this is hacked, there could be backlash? Remember grade school? That one kid broke the rules and fucked it up for everyone else.
Aren't there laws against this sort of thing in the first place?

I've never played an ARG, but from the way everyone's talking, I'm guessing that password protected sites are not common in these things. Is that true?
And, really stupid question, but, just to be clear: if we try to guess the password, is that hacking? Illegal?

I would venture to say that sites on large OOG servers are not okay to hack in any meaning of the word.

I'm new to the ARG world as well, but from what I can gather- this "game" isn't even that in depth. YET.
Mentioned above, the PB account used to be an open account until a couple of kids on here found it and were checking it out. My guess is that it's password protected now because they're hosting the pics that'll go up on MySpace for our enjoyment. If we hack the PW it'll spoil the fun, imo.
I don't think it's illegal (not a stupid question) but if a bunch of rabid fans kept leaking your shit early, you'd probably pull the brakes too.
--- the "laws" I refered to are the ARG commandments (in the link)---

Photobucket The Sarah one being password blocked probably means its OOG... But, and this is a big, J-ho sized but, then why the deleted myspace with the same name? And Huds Cyclops pic came from the same photobucket as jamies (The Sarah one)
But then why does Rob have his own, registered to his name?
And people are speculating the link twixt Jamie and Hud, maybe this is further proof? My G/F and I share each others photobuckets.
