I understand that everyone is on a search of some kind, but I don't think I can help you.

Jonas was the one with the theories and answers. The rest of us were just sounding boards for possible solutions. We were the ones who told him no every time he thought he found a yes. If he was around, I am sure he could tell you what you want to know.

The process of my involvement was simple-
Jonas would work non-stop for about a week before dropping by my office. If I had the time, he would sit for a cup of coffee and ask questions about the structure of social advancement or evolutionary desires or any number of things. The questions always changed due to the fact that he was forever updating his theories.

During all our talks, Jonas and I grew close. He didn't have any family in the area so my wife and I started inviting him over for dinner on Sunday evenings. This continued for a few years, past the publishing of "The Castaway Theory", until one night he just didn't show up...

Two days later, after he failed to appear for classes, I filed a police report. The investigators went through his house and found nothing out of place. His notes remained untouched; his clothes all seemed to be in his closet. There was even a sandwich sitting on the kitchen counter. It was as if he just opened the front door walked away. That was 20 months ago.

The last time I heard from Jonas was in a note he left on my desk the Friday before his disappearance. The note said, "It's time to start asking questions again. J"

That last bit sounded like something right out of the X-files.

Also I found out two of the possible "in game" character contact info, lets find out if there game Jackers shall we?

I only looked up those whose identity where verified on Amazon.com here they are:

Avila, Edward W
Los Angeles, CA
(555) 555-5555

Davis, Ernest
Kansas City, MO
(555) 555-5555

It's time to start asking questions again. J

As in J is saying that.

So if we want answers, we should start looking for Jonas. Either that, or Thomas may be able to tell us if were going the right way.

20 months was January 2006. What happened in January 2006?

If we have to seek out Jonas, we'll need to talk to everyone we can that had a relation to him. The only other one I can think of is David George of SoTA. New lunar cycle starts on Sunday I think, so maybe if we contact SoTA through the email...

We need Jonas. Thomas says he can't help us with what we seek. What would drive Jonas to seemingly get up and walk out the front door?

How do we find a man thats been gone since January 2005?

EDIT: Hmm...

A note from Dave George:

When I first started SOTA in 1995, I was living in Santa Fe, NM. A neighbor (Aaron Elliot, our current SOTA membership chairman) and I were talking during a backyard BBQ when the conversation turned to a book series (bought on TV and popular at he time) dealing with unsolved ancient mysteries. After a 2-hour discussion, and a brief foray into Aaron's duplex to find the mysteries book, I became quite interested in ancient artifacts and their relationship to possible extra terrestrials.

Surely this is The Castaway Theory...Bought on TV...Aaron had it...Maybe David is also searching for Jonas, or maybe Jonas is Aaron.

Dun dun dun.

I have read and reread his latest post, and I honestly think there isn't anything there. My guess is wait for another post or trailhead.

Why? He gave us instructions on what we need to do. Find Jonas. Digging through old things led to the discovery that could link SOTA and The Castaway Theory together for sure.

I'd say theres stuff there!

Also: He referred to himself as "J"

...

I had been wondering what that symbol meant. ARs first icon was the glyph which led us to all the other stuff, maybe this will lead us to find Jonas

Don't call random people. We know of 1 in game character. That's it. Why would we need more? Those posts aren't really all that suspicious.

If there was perhaps foul play involved with Jonas' disappearance, it could be from some MIB-like organization, and we just happen to have one of those in this ARG... coughFCCcough
