yesterday, minor update.

http://www.corinthianlasvegas.com/images/archive/cArt_photo4_lg.jpg

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
putting in "democratize Survival" gets us a picture of a pamphlet, which reads simply "LIBERTAD! Nuestro fFuturo" which is spanish fFor "Liberty! Our fFuture"

Ok, simple enough.

Today's update, however, is much more involved.

http://www.corinthianlasvegas.com/images/archive/asian_photo28_lg.jpg

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"Democratize Survival" appears to have ended in 1977? in Bhutan? Dr. Suresh is fFrom Chennai, which is on the map. (And in several thousand years, Jeanine Salla will be fFrom Bangalore, which is also on the map. A gentle nod to us tenured ARGers, perhaps?) Knowledge workers!

Good stuff! But what does it all mean?

Apparently incorporeal dead people (Hana, in this case) get the weekend off. No updates today.

I thought it could be another login for the Primatech Paper Page http://www.primatechpaper.com/about.php but that didn't work.

The password bit seems to be busticated.

However, as noted over on ninth wonders, the new stuff can be accessed directly, by a little guesswork. You are correct, browsies, in noting the change at primatech. But it would seem either the password we were given isnt right -- or else it's not activated correctly. Either way, it turns out we can skip past the log-in.

See, in the past, the primatech paper site used certain naming patterns. So the guess was made that the same patterns should apply.

Thing one:
http://www.primatechpaper.com/T1001/

12 people listed. We know The Company was started by 12 people, so perhaps this is them. Maybe.

Thing two:
http://www.primatechpaper.com/T1001/A012/

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It's a profile fFor Richard Drucker. Ahhh, a fFull name! Cool! He was last seen in Bhutan, in 1977. He is apparently a complete pacifist, and he utterly hates the company.

"Extreme hatred for founding members of The Company. Intelligence of the highest levels known to man. Zen-like disposition. Non-violent. Do not engage. Keep safe distance. He will know you have found him before you do. Potential to inflict serious cataclysmic damages."

His power appears to be akin to Hana's, but ramped up about a million times. The fForce is strong with this one.

There's some links to some images, as well.

Expense Report:

Body chart with no marks or indicators:

And, nifty nifty, under "surveillance", with a message fFrom Hana:

[EMAIL] From Samantha48616e61 "Adventurers"

Quote:
Dear friends,
I'm seeking an adventurer who wants a change of pace to help me find a man named Richard Drucker. I've recently uncovered evidence that he may be the missing link leading us to a deeper understanding of "The Company." I've learned of his whereabouts, but he's off the grid – standard emails won't reach him. I need help delivering a message to him in the Kingdom of Bhutan. Wandering souls a plus. Interested?

It links to this week's graphic novel "The Last Shangri-La". But this one is different, it has the option to play it with animation.

She's enlisting the aid of the "Traveler" to help find Richard Drucker. He's someone she knew before she "died". Seems "Trav" has the ability to read & communicate in ANY language.

Wanted to point out. The comic is not "This week's", as I too initially suspected. This week there are effectively TWO comics.

The usual weekly comic is over at
http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/novels/
and is about the Shanti virus.

This week's animated comic is at
http://studiopass.nbc.com/t/76354/5435658/1103/0/
It is about Trav in Bhutan.

Trav's story is a multipart thing, so we'll see where this goes.

As an aside, I really like this week's hidden-in-the-comic photo:
http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/novels/downloads/chapter58_ee.jpg

Oh oh! And! In Trav's comic, there's a very clear specific picture of an OLPC!! Sweet!

There have been "hidden-in-the-comic" photos??? How do you find those? 58 comics and this is the first I've heard of it. Cool

What is an OLPC?

olpc

Hi Kona:

olpc is the One Laptop Per Child program.

And yes if you left click on any of the pages in the graphic novel you get a picture. I believe that the youngsters call it an "Easter egg"?

I thought left clicking on the graphic novel got you a car ad. Maybe I was doing it wrong.

Email from Hana:

On the blog:
Quote:
Drucker has made contact. This could be the break we need to find out more about the founding fathers of "The Company." I have a hunch that Drucker may have known many of them personally. Let's hope he's willing to share more.

Here's what he sent:

Hana,

Does this video look familiar? We should talk, there's more to tell. I've been watching them too...for a long time.

-Drucker

Looks like Drucker was monitoring Linderman's plan to blow up NYC too. Wonder why? I sent him a reply.

Let's hope he gets back to us soon. I'm anxious to see if he has more to reveal. Until then, we wait...with bated breath...

HG

The video is dated Nov 8, 2006. It look the NYC skyline and you see a red glow shooting up to the sky and then an explosion that moves the clouds. I SPEC this is Nathan & Peter before he exploded at the end of last season. So this scene will probably show up on air next week.

Just for the record, the earlier post on her blog with the Primatech breakin information (cause it wasn't posted in here last week):
Quote:
Richard Drucker is a name I have recently become familiar with, yet I've never met him. What I do know is that he was once connected to Linderman and "The Company". He could prove to be a valuable in our pursuit.

To find out more, click HERE. (this link does not work anymore)

To learn a bit more about him, check out his Primatech Assignment Tracker File here.

For Future reference, to enter Primatech's Assignment Tracker as Linderman:

Go to the About Us page:

Username: Linderman
Password potpie

To access Drucker's File: A012

Username: Linderman
Password: RDghx11a (we know this isn't working, but the direct link to the file is above)

EDIT - kona beat me to it by a fFew minutes.

I won't completely derail the conversation, as you can read about the OLPC program elsewhere. But essentially, the program makes one primary assumption: If we can bring technology (and therefore information) to developing nations, we can change the world. The OLPC computers are designed with three objectives: 1) make a laptop which can be purchased fFor under $100 2) to give to children 3) in developing parts of the world. Consequently, they are robust platforms which are designed to look like toys and run like hyenas. The program has some arguable problems, but overall it's a brilliant organization.

But I'm sorry, there is a more pressing matter at hand. New message fFrom hana:
Quote:
Drucker contacted me. He may have more information than I ever imagined. This could be it. See what he sent here: http://samantha48616e61.com

And in that, is a link to a video.
http://samantha48616e61.com/popups/drucker_clip.shtml

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It would appear to be a preview of what we'll see in the next episode (according to the episode trailer). More specifically, It is a video taken fFrom across the river, in NYC, as Peter and Nathan fFly up into the sky and exploding. It is rather cool, i must say. It appears to me, after Peter blows up, he is a fFalling cinder, and Nathan swoops back around to sweep him up. I don't mind telling you I am really looking fForward to next week's episode.

Oh, one other thing ... The easter egg photos ... Er, well, I was going to post a link to where/how you can fFind them on the website. But the heroes section of NBC.com appears to broken right now. So, er, I'll post something to fFollowup on this tomorrow I suppose.

I don't know if this has come up before, since the New York Chronicle has shown up in the show a couple of times. But there was a picture leaked for the Nov 26th episode.

I've tried to see if theres a page for it, but so far nothing.
