"Talk to me during the day mostly. The day mostly."

Does R.F.'s new post remind anyone of this?

Anybody else up for trying to use the blog as an avenue to try to communicate with the king and/or A.F. We seem to have lost any real communication with anyone we've had contact with so far. R.F. clearly isn't coherent enough to carry on a two way dialogue. i know we've not been given much to do here but simply being content watch these characters slip away from us. I don't know I'm not horribly content with the notion.

Newer post got put up it seems.

Looks like Rosalez was pretty much disliked by everyone on staff. I haven't heard a single person in the story speak of him positively.

And I can see why.
Rosalez is/was a crooked, lying, evil man, and these short dialogs are definitely proof of that.

Also, the Red King could be destructive, but I have a feeling that he's ultimately benevolent, much like V.

Actually, thinking of it, the Red King is starting to remind me a lot of the original (as in the comic book (aka the good)) V of V for Vendetta.

I'm going to ask R.F. a few questions now that he's thinking a little more clearly. Namely, the Red King's and A.F.'s emails, and if Greg's blood could lead him somewhere.

Thank you for asking questions, he still hasn't answered my question from August 26th about the images on the Important post, and I feel too sorry for him at this point to bother him with questions.

I keep thinking that he did something to Greg and can't remember it. I would never suggest that to him whereas he's already suicidal.

We got a lot of information in these last two posts....but we still have a ton of questions. Laughing

R.F.'s Family

Just an idea, but the longer this goes along, the more the Red King seems to be stripping R.F of any emotional attachments. R.F.'s search for his family just kinda ended after the returned to his house and he really doesn't seem to be THAT concerned about it and, while he does show concern for Greg, it is very muted as though it's not that important. R.F's entire tone seems to be changing. I know that he mentioned that he wants to find his family, but the overriding concern that was there before the Metamorphosis post is gone and after rereading that post, I see something that seems a lot more significant now
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
He is taking it all away. He believes that they will act as restraints at this stage.

This was the very beginning of that post and even the title of that post, I believe now, signifies more than it seemed at the time. When I first read it, I thought that it referred to the oily figure "metamorphisizing" into Greg, but now I believe that it is referring more to R.F's continuing change into a unified personality. I really do believe that the Red King is a one of the personalities housed in the body that we are referring to as R.F. , a la Identity(which I mentioned previously)

Just my two cents,

Endr[/spoiler][/b]

I do believe that the Red King is creating a change of some kind in R.F. but I think that he's showing R.F. how to take control of the virtual world that currently houses the minds of R.F and his compatriots. I believe they were physically rendered into the apparent condition of the red king, which first solidified for me with the Johnny got his gone reference.

I agree, there. In fact I think the Red King mentioned just that in his email somewhere.

This could all go with the possibility that R.F.'s family and Greg are dead, and the Red King is trying to get R.F. to accept that.

Aliens? That one soldier says the Xenomorphs "come out at night mostly", or something like that.

Red King might be an alien? >_>

Just hoppin' on the bandwagon, but...isn't that a direct quote from one of Samuel's e-mails?

I believe RF said it, but he said contact him during the night. I believe Sam also said it, too.

It looks like we got a new post last night that I hadn't noticed. It answers a lot of questions including addressing false memories and the figure in the video. It also makes me much more sympathetic towards the Red King.

He still avoided answering my question about why the images were blacked out, so it can remain unanswered. Rolling Eyes The images didn't black themselves out, but we'll never know why he did it.

hope it's not to late to jump in.

Quote:
"I will not lie. Our first test examination of the subject's mind has been a disaster of epic proportions. To calm him down, we had to use far more sedatives than we wanted to, and we had no idea if it would have a negative effect on the experiment. Even after this, we had quite a struggle inserting the wires into him. When he finally stopped writhing, I ordered the proper actions to be carried out. Things seemed to be going smoothly for a matter of seconds, and then we approached what I call the Guardian - a protective figure keeping us out of the subject's mind.

the guardian would of course, be the "dream cop". this next bit is of particular interest to me

Quote:
Then, a large figure appeared behind the Guardian (which you can see in the video).

I assume that this is the face that appears in the capture, that neither RF, or Greg could see (not having seen the video because I can't make it load properly, this may be wildly inaccurate, could someone please put it on youtube?)

Quote:
After this, the video glitched, and a stutter was produced. While this stutter began, all hell broke loose in the lab. Machinery blew apart, debris hit people, and a technician (I believe) was even severely injured by wiring.

I would guess that this is what Sammy/Sam/Samuel referred to in one of his emails

Quote:
Stone suggested that we 'fix them' with a form of the hypnosis we originally tried on the subject. As you know, his capabilities allowed him to resist it for the most part; however, Stone is confident that we could permanently rewrite the liabilities' memories with the technique. I think it's a large gamble to take. It may work, but what if it doesn't? The last thing we need is a bunch of scientists running around spouting off about what happened and then claiming we somehow violated them mentally.

I will say that I would not be opposed to a hybrid solution. Perhaps we will alter their memories

this could account for the memory problems (the truck, the cat, and such) if the memory alteration turned out to be temporary, or had unforseen problems (something triggering the original memory to come up and replace/modify the altered one.)

Quote:
and later eliminate or discredit the problematic ones. It's up to you." - Dr. Albert Rosalez

this would of course be the disappearances mentioned earlier.

(NOTE: I in no way consider myself an expert in psychology, biology, or any other sciences that may relate to this ARG, the closest thing I have to a scientific background is reading star wars and star trek books, These are just the possibilities that jump out at me, I am prepared to admit that I am completely wrong if they turn out to be inaccurate))

Yes. What do you make of the similarity?
