Interesting thing to me about this total death toll is that I made a reference in another thread on here called ARG Mortuary to the idea that most of Manhattan was dead. That was on May 4th, so I doubt someone at Paramount read my post and wanted to counter it with a much rosier estimate. The fact that quantitative info was supplied thereafter on the Blu-Ray disc is pretty funny. I'll go revise the numbers in a subsequent post in that thread.

I wonder how many people died on the bridge, because that bridge was PACKED with people, and not many got off alive. So between exploding from parasite bites, being eaten by LSA, and swimming with the fishes it's no wonder why there weren't a ton of bodies everywhere. The PG-13 rating probably had something to do with that also. It would've been pretty freaky to see a bunch of exploded or half eaten corpses lying around where LSA had walked.

I second that notion. it would take away from the movie, cause there would be bodies EVERYWHERE, and it would bore everyone cause seeing generic exploded people everywhere gets old. Maybe a couple bodies would be nice, considering you saw at most three human bodies in the whole movie.

1.That dead soldier who got BITTEN*DUN DUN DUN*
2. Huds Torso.
3. Huds Feet.
