Has anyone made any progress on moving on to the next stage in this one? I haven't paid it much attention because the kids look young and the movie looks like the sort of thing a teenager would make, upload and then lose interest in.

Like maybe the few random clues in the video are as far as this is going to go.

it doesn't strike me as particularly sad.

The song is Green Bird by The Seatbelts. It was written for the Cowboy Bebop episode "Ballad of Fallen Angels." They have the clip on YouTube if anyone's interested. Actually my favorite part of the series.

Unfortunately, that's the bulk of the input I have on this. Confused

A little Information about murder...

The murderer probably knew all four people, but was especially close to the girl with the pillow over her face (I will explain why in a moment).

The first guy shown has a bag over his head and the second guy is hung. Both of these actions of murder indicate that whoever was doing the killing wanted to see their victim struggle until death.

The same goes for the fourth girl (the one with the word "NEXT" on her forehead). Watching her plead for her life is what this person enjoys.

The 3rd victim, as stated earlier, has a pillow over her face (assuming that it IS a woman). Placing a pillow over someone's face is an action taken by someone who is close to the victim and does not want to see that person struggle until their death. It is less about not wanting the person to make any noise (as the first two victims would have made a lot of noise during their slow deaths) and more about the relationship between the killer and the victim.

When you are close to the victim you tend to take care of the body more because of your personal relationship to them. Something inside of you does not want to deface the body in any way. I believe that this is why the words "Dirty Whore" were written on the wall rather then on the body itself, as was the case with the first and fourth person.

As to why they were killed? Still working on that.

EDIT: Besides wondering where the red coloring for the hand prints came from, one additional thing that I noticed was a message written on the door in the last scene. As the camera stops on the last red hand print you can see the message "I love you (two more words I can't make out) SYMBOL OF A HEART Ashley".

I can't tell if the writing was made before or after the hand print was made, which may be important to know if we are trying to know who the killer is and why he/she killed these four people.

Edit 2: About the Bloody Handprints, I found this:

Quote:
From the Apache and Commanche tribes, legends about this handprint tell of a furious battle in which a warrior was fatally wounded. Before the brave warrior's death, he patted his horse on the right shoulder, thus leaving a bloody handprint on his horse for all his people to see his "message of death" when the horse returned to camp.

Four bloody prints, this information, four victims? Can't be a coincidence, can it?

Obviously, this killer is whacked. Okay, I think Ashley maybe the "Giant Whore", or she is the screamer at the end.

It's possible he might strike again, though I doubt it. Killer appears to have snapped and specifically went after these four.

The hanging guy blinks just before he is panned out of the camera shot. I think this was unintentional and more related to amateur acting and filming than anything. Just thought I would point it out.
