[TRAILHEAD?] Mr. A Plasm
It's from the TimeHole people! (MeiGeist friends, come quick)

Just opened up my inbox to this:

Mr A Plasm

Outer Spiral

Timehole

Dear sir / Madam,

It seems we share common acquaints!

If times were different perhaps this would be a post of greetings and joy?

But alas I must apologize; my full focus and attention are both currently preoccupied amidst a matter of great urgency.

It also is no help to the virtues of friendship and correspondence that I have come to believe that I unfortunately am in fact ..quite .. dead.

I do hope my current situation is not too much of a .. quandary to overcome in order for me to request a small act of kindness form you?

.. help.

Yours sincerely,

Mr A Plasm.

Attached was a picture of a butterfly, entitled '1.jpg.'

Not sure if this is a trailhead (I think it's probably the experimental game Jon mentioned on the forums a few weeks ago), but until we have it sorted into a category (eg. Timewaster), I wanted to make this thread. Besides, I'm too excited to not make a thread. Wink

Edit:

Ok, there's a sub-forum on the Time Hole message boards about this.

Also, here's the image:

Darnit! You got your post out only one minute before I did mine! I didn't see an attachment on mine but, I did do a search on the subject line 'Death is swallowed up by victory' is pretty close to 'Death has been swallowed up in victory.' which comes from Corinthians 15:54

Quote:

54- When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory."

Yeah, I think there are three threads on the game now, all posted within a minute of eachother. XD

I sent off an email to A Plasm, and also PMed Pat & Dave (who were online) on the TimeHole forums.

Also, good catch with the bible quote!

Well, I think I'm going to the #Geist channel now to be excited. Smile

New post from Pat and Dave on the TimeHole forums:

Patrick wrote:

Pat- Okay, this has nothing to do with us. Not this time. Oh no.

Dave- Well. It could be the Timehole.

Pat- What Timehole?

Dave- The one we opened last Wednesday, after neighbours, before the sandwiches.

Pat- ?

Dave- The one on the lawn outside!

Pat- Oh. Yeh.

Pat & Dave- This has NOTHING to do with us!

Also, for those who are interested, here's the post Jon (a MeiGeist PM) made a few weeks ago. Warning: potential meta-spoilers.

Edit:
Pat and Dave are continuing a conversation over in the TimeHole forums.

When be this 'ere Timehole to then?

Patrick wrote:

Pat-
We didn't do anything. Honest!
But they seem to be springing up in every country in the world.
There is probably one very close to you right now! Surprised

Dave-
It's ironic really, seeing as our website is called Timehole. Or maybe naming it that was just a Triptych fueled premonition?

Hey, 'sup fellow Geitees? Even though one of those threads is mine(the first one), I'd say we should use this one, since it's got the most posts and it has the attatchment, which I didn't get on my email.

EDIT: That, and mine got locked while I was posting. Guess the mods were one step ahead of me.

Butterfly jpg attached to email

This jpg was in the email that landed in my junk bin.
The duplicate email that went to my regular mail, didn't have the butterfly.

Well I can't find an email in my junk folder with a picture, but if I were to hazard a guess, since these two so far are both butterflies and numbered, they're frames of an animation, meant to go in sequence. At least, it's possible.

I don't think its part of an animation. The butterflies appear to be different. Plus the background colors are different. Although it would help if someone had 2.jpg.

Who's the common acquaintance?

The bible quote implies that he thinks there's a way for him to overcome death once certain conditions are met.

I think Plasm means that we both know Pat & Dave (or another character from MeiGeist).

Could someone who participated in the first game give us newbies a quick run down of the plot, key points, themes, et cetera?

The mainpage of the MeiGeist wiki has an excellent summary of the events of the game, written by Thunderwolf.

The end of the game (and explanation of the final events) can be found here.

But so far, this doesn't seem to have anything to do with MeiGeist, right? That's just a possibility since the email came from Timehole?

Hey again all Smile so excited!

So far it doesn't seem to be related in that way. I am sure either way though, this will be just as great.

<<edit>>
ok, just wanted to express again how excited i am! .. no point adding another post to do so. i so wish i lived across the ocean - but i hope if a live event happens again everyone captures it like before.

it is so great so see you all again!

- also, can these forums be accessed by pda easily or is this rather hard? just got a new phone/pda...i'll have to test it out since i work such odd hours as of late. at least i can access my email.

Woo Friggin' Hoo!

Yay! Yay! I got an email, too, but no butterfly. Sad

Am so excited, I could spit!

Yay!

Quick note to newbies: Timehole was a kind of mini-arg-within-an-arg for the MeiGeist art. Timehole was a website run by Pat and Dave, a couple of conspiracy theorist fun crazies. During and after the game, pretty much everyone said something about not wanting them to disappear, because they were such great characters.
