Its not Japanese... its Chinese. The first character means "yellow". Not sure about the second one.

RotG Whois Address If it's an artistic, intellectually challenging gamejack, I wouldn't particularly mind.
Anyway, a further note on the RotG (hm- Rot 17?) Web site:
As noted elsewhere, the Whois address, 15111 N Hayden Rd Ste 180, Scottsdale AZ, belongs to a sushi restaurant called Hang On Sushi.
The address is more interesting to me than the business- it's adjacent to the municipal Scottsdale airport.
That strikes me as potentially meaningful. The phone numbers on the Whois for the 1-18-08 and Slusho sites resolved to Santa Monica airport's automated aviation/weather service. Between that and the prominent JAL ads in the Slusho packaging material, I wonder if we're seeing a pattern developing.

Well, I live in Phoenix, as you can see...
14455 N. Hayden Rd.
Suite 219
Scottsdale, AZ 85260 is the address for godaddy.com, and according to Google Maps, that business and Hang On Sushi are only 0.3 mi away from each other.
Why would they pick Scottsdale's airport, though? Why not Sky Harbor, or Mesa Gateway, or Deer Valley, or any of the other small, municipal airports around here?
Part of me just thinks they wanted an address close to the business that sounded slightly Japanese. :/ is RotG registered to goddaddy.com?

Whoever is in charge of that site is an etard.
There's no code, you dumbut (talking to the author), no matter what you type it takes you to that page, and it's obviously fake considering how much it's changed in the last few days.

Urchin? How hard it is to put an active urchin tracker on a page. I know anyone can get the code, but I'm not sure how difficult it is, because that's been found on all of the pages so far (*Disclaimer*I'm not saying this is proof because it in no way is, just pointing it out))
Edit: My bad, already discussed...shows what happens when I don't keep up to date...

Just got this e-mail from ROTG website. Just got this e-mail from ROTG site. OH CRAP, THIS IS OUT OF GAME. SORRY!

Earlier this afternoon before tea, Raven777 received the following e-mail from her contact in Tokyo.
It is a demand to cease looking for the artifact from the Maji Cult. There is a picture of Koji bound in a chair.
This is nothing more than a scare tactic. They can't find us all. Although some of us will be taken by the Maji, the remaining must be strong and continue locating the artifact. It is the only thing to stop the horde from entering our world.
God be with you all and you will all be in my prayers.

if you click on the little swirled around kanji over what used to be the pic of a rat on the main rageofthegods.com page, it takes you to a page with a pic of an old New York Times. Clicking on the pic runs a "mailto" script, the message being addressed to 666SPLAT rageofthegods.com.

Yeah, it's another Ethan Haas ... an ARG that's been mistakely connected to the one we're playing.
It's certainly got the trimmings of what looks more like a traditional ARG.

Unfiction and ROTG Why not it's own forum? Kingpin, your a VET. How come Unforums does not give this one it's own forum to break this thing down?
EVERYBODY KNOWS IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CLOVERFIELD.
THE GAMESTERS HAVE ALREADY TOLD ME AND OTHERS WHO ARE IN GAME THAT. We simply asked them and they replied with no.
I do not really care, but everytime someone posts something in an ROTG thread in here, they get jumped on.
Just my two friggin cents.

Pathfinder, please remember that unforum is not a unified entity, so "it" does not make any decisions on it's own. But as a member you are free to create a thread for "ROTG" in the News & Rumors section, if you have any information about this being a seperate game (which you may or may not want to play).
Also, there's no reason to equate a member's number of posts with knowledge, experience and/or respect for the board (no offense to you, Kingpin).
I think the Cloverfield-subforum does a pretty good job of illustrating some of these points.

None take, I actually think the post count is too generous... I'm a veteran just for having 100 posts? Get out of here.
In hindsight, I don't know why I posted something so obvious... I guess I was just dropping my own two cents.
