yep he just said he wanted his own monster (or along those lines) and not king kong or godzilla. so he never actually said 'original' but it could be seen as suggested. and alot of what has come from that is pure speculation and more suggestion.

I'll be serious original or not, all i care about is what the monster looks like. I could care less about the characters or slusho.. just like transformers... who cares about the plot we all just wanted to see optimus prime and the others transform into vehicles n shit.

The guys at AICN have and always will do things according to their own agenda. They have a horrible track record when it comes to releasing information, especially misinformation about movies.

If you want to believe what they print. Fine. That is your choice. But don't come here expecting others to follow suit. Especially those who are not fanbois of the site and can clearly think for themselves as well as gather their own information.

AICN has been around for years and years. Yeah, they screw up occasionally and yes, they're a gossip rag. But on average they've been much more right than not, and they have deep connections in Hollywood.

I've been reading them off and on since before Phantom Menace came out. You know, before the spelling "fanboi" was in common vernacular. Whatever the crap that even means.
