Could the monster be....Lavos?

Ok...I know it kind of sounds silly...

But who here has played Chrono Trigger? Remember when Lavos breaks through the earth's crust? An explosion followed by all kinds od death raining from the sky. Could it be?

It, to me, makes more sense than Godzilla. Or a giant Lion.

Hmm...

I dunno. When I first saw the trailer, it almost ruined Transformers for me. I couldn't get it out of my head.

The first thing that hit me was how it reminded me of Lavos.

Maybe I'm just projecting an inward wish to see more of the Chrono line. Chrono was a great series. It shouldn't have died like it did.
