I apologize for the double post, but I was just wondering if anybody else was disappointed by the save money/clip show last night on On the Lot? I mean, it's part one of the two part season finale, couldn't they have given us something new?

ok...i've been watching "On the Lot" since the first week and i think its a great show but also a good way to get info out to the public about filmmaking. I seriously wouldn't be surprised if they did release any info about 1-18-08 next week on the finale. The possibility is very very very slim if they would release anything at all. But since Dreamworks and Paramount are affiliated in some sort of way gives a tiny chance.....yes the host did say secrets will be revealed in the finale. I hope something happens soon......

1-18-08 is not a dream works film, dream works loves to whore their logo around every trailer they are even remotely linked too. On top of that, if dream works were involved the budget would be much larger than 30 million.

I watch On The Lot Every week. I wouldn't be surprised if they showed a clip of 1-18-08 or something. I also wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't real.

Were getting a lot of BS out of everyone now. We don't even know if things are real or not.

For those of you who don't know what On The Lot is, it's a reality T.V. show with a group of people wanting to be directors. They show their films every week, and the public vote for who they want to stay. The prize is a one million dollar deal with DreamWorks for a movie. The season finale is coming up, and the winner is going to be chosen.

I read somewhere in the millions of posts here in UF, that DreamWorks and paramount are working together. Also I read, that Transformers was a DreamWorks films, was it not? Anyway my point is, I think that a trailer or some sort of footage of cloverfield/1-18-08/overnight is going to be shown in this season finale. (We really need a title soon, its annoying having all these code names, but no actual name.) Also, one more point to back me up is (well its not that significant) the host of On The Lot said there were going to be many secret stuff revealed in the finale.

That's just my theory. Just wanted it heard. Tell me what you think Very Happy

I love On the Lot, but I hate the host, Adrianna Costa. Her boobs are faker than Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny and Batman combined. Yecch.

I think the trailer would be pretty cool. They're gonna need at least 45 minutes of filler, by the looks of it...

Adriana needs serious help in the wardrobe department! Most of the time it looks like she's wearing curtains! LOL! Laughing

As for the 45 minutes of filler, I figure they'll just do another save money/clip show just like last week! Rolling Eyes OK, not really, but I just thought that last episode of On the Lot was lame.

Yeah, I'm a little bummed David didn't show "Dance Man" again. I thought that was a pretty good one.

Also, did you see the episode with Penny Marshall? She looked a little... buzzed. Weird. I think Gary Marshall stays up all night thinking of witty zingers for each show the directors film and outfit Adrianna wears. Either that, or he is a really quick thinker...

Oh, and Dreamworks belongs to Viacom, the parent company of Paramount, so it wouldn't be unheard of for a Paramount trailer to make it into a primarily Dreamworks TV show. Not many people watch On the Lot, though, so I wonder if the Cloverfield people would think it wise to advertise a new trailer there...

*bump*

Just a reminder that the season finale of "On The Lot" will be on tonight! I don't know if they will show anything related to 1-18-08/Cloverfield, but I enjoy watching the show anyway. I'm rooting for Adam and Will.
