New York?

So let me get this straight . . .

They expect us to go to midtown on the west side of Manhattan at midnight?

Sure, you may just be more than disappointed, you nay get mugged.

That's actually the Marriott Marquis Hotel, and the location pointed to on Google maps is the underpass behind the Hotel lobby entrance - a likely location for people to congregate off of the hustle of Times Square.

For those who are upset about the distance to that location, here's some solace: that location is right off of Broadway, so more likely than not, tourists will probably stumble onto this Halo promo and make off with whatever's there before any of us NY Metro Iris participants . . .

Exactly why I think there is something we're missing. I can get down there in about 40 minutes, but I'm not gonna get mugged over some free Halo swag.

I love Halo, but not that much. Razz

Anyone have any ideas on why the Los Angeles coordinates aren't in LA? They're in Westwood, Ca which is similar to Westwood Village in LA. I cant see them making such a big mistake like that though.

Frankie's probably standing out in Seattle, like Phil, from Amazing Race, waiting to give the first person there, their next clue.

The coords are there because AKQA has screwed up again. Aren't they wonderful?

I don't feel like driving the requisite three hours to get to Westwood, so, ya know, I think I'll attempt a voodoo ritual or two on AKQA for their giant stupidity and, with that, depart for the night. I'll come back later to (no doubt!) find that all the keys were claimed by people who had no idea that Iris even existed.

Gah.

Maybe LA area? In NYC, Times Square is a fairly central location, but for LA, the cities around it may be suitable locations as well.
