[Halo 3] Create your own Player Model Image!

First off, if you don't want to see the locked armor permutations then don't play around with the images. This is your only warning. Smile

I'm not sure if you've figured this out yet, but you can go on Bungie's site and look at the different armor permutations by manipulating the image of yourself on your Halo 3 page. You can use this to play around with different looks of your player model and figure out how you want your player model to look, then all you have to do is unlock the permutations that you want and apply them in game. The only thing that you cannot change is the weapon that the model is holding.

If you "View" the image [These instructions were written for FireFox] (right click on the image of your player model, and select "View Image") on your Halo 3 page, you can see how the image can be manipulated as you want. For your convenience, I have added a link to the Default Player Model (Steel colored Spartan) below.

http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Halo3/PlayerModel.ashx?p1=0&p2=0&p3=0&p4=0&p5=0&p6=0&p7=0&p8=0

Each of the numbers after the "=" sign can be changed to change the appearances of the image. If you put in a number that is not valid it will show the Halo 3 symbol. Simply change the number that you just changed back to a previous number and hit enter to reload the last valid image.

Below is what each of the P#'s stands for and what aspect of the image it changes.

p1 is for spartan or elite
p1=0 is a spartan model
P2=1 is an elite model

p2 is for the different helmets
0 through 10 for Spartans
0 through 4 for Elites

p3 is for shoulder pad on the right side of the image.
0 through 7 for Spartans
0 through 4 for Elites

p4 is for shoulder pad on the left side of the image.
0 through 7 for Spartans
0 through 4 for Elites

p5 is for the body armor
0 through 8 for Spartans
0 through 4 for Elites

p6 is the main color of the model
0 through 29

p7 is the secondary color of the model
0 through 29

p8 is the racing strip color (the arm band color)
0 through 29

Enjoy!

Grifter out.

Updated with Matt's find of the 8th body armor.

That is friggen awesome! By the way, the Spartan body can go up to 8, it looks a lot like 5 however 8 doesn't have the lights on it that 5 does.

Just for kicks here's what my Spartan would look like if I had the armor pieces, *I used unlocked armor!*
