 		[MOVIE PROMO? ARG?]Richard Kelly's Southland Tales
I found this article at aintitcoolnews this morning, and I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere before. It seems that Richard Kelly (he wrote and directed Donnie Darko) has a new movie coming out sometime in 2006. Here's the most interesting bit of the article

In addition to the feature film, an expanded version of Southland Tales will be presented as a nine-part interactive experience with the prequel saga to be published as six separate 100 page graphic novels, each written by Kelly. The graphic novels will be released over a six month period early next year leading up to the film's release with the feature film comprised of the story's final three chapters. In addition, the film's official website will be one of the largest and most elaborate ever designed for a feature film. "The graphic novels will work in tandem with the website, creating a more epic multimedia experience for those interested in taking the plunge," added Kelly.


The website is http://www.southlandtales.com/, but as of yet there's not much there. I'm a huge Donnie Darko fan, and i know there's more of you here, so I thought you guys might like a heads-up

 		Looks interesting. I'll definitely watch out for this one, Donnie Darko is a fantastic movie.

 		If it is, in fact, like Donnie Darko...
Then the websites might be somewhat similar. As I recall, There were things you could ONLY know about the movie on the website... and you couldn't finish the website until you had seen the movie...

 		This seems very interesting...there is a path open related the first Graphic novel's title "the two roads diverge..."

does it go any further than the page which talks about "The variability of the earth-rotation vector relative to the body of the planet or in inertial space is caused by the gravitational torque exerted by the moon, sun and planets, displacements of matter in different parts of the planet and other excitation mechanisms" theres what looks like it should be a button saying launch. maybe its just not been turned on yet maybe?

 		Once the main page loads click the flag with the fingerprint inset. It open up a new window with a photo of a street scene and some red rope lights wrapped around some pillars. After everything loads click the american flag on the bottom right and you get a fair ammount of new stuff...it doesn't make much sense, mind you, but its there
