[Fan Art] The extended Trailer

I decided to make a little tribute to the original trailer. It's combined with some other footage which I thought fitted together nicely.

Check the trailer at:

http://www.elperiodico.nl/cloverfield/ (high-res)

or on youtube (low-res)

Hope you guys enjoy it. Wink

Okay, I'll finish watching!

Shocked

holy shit! I totally like this one better! Mr. Abrams needs to see you in a hurry. He might not know it yet but he does.

Awesome!

I don't get why you are all so impressed, he just mixed some transformers footage and some trailer footage together..He didn't do any of the effects.

Very nicely edited, I liked how you used the Tranformers and I am Legend clips and the others I didn't really reconize. I like to edit trailers too.

But he did it in a very seemless manner. Very nice work.

I would only suggest that you include some disclaimer on the page about this being a tribute (not a real trailer) just in case one of those 'news' sites picks up on it and thinks it's real.

A starteling trend

It seems to be a rising trend to not actually try anything, like cleverly editing film, or trying to solve puzzles, but rather, to attempt to stop others fun. I guess if you have no talents of your own to contribute, in other words your an utterly worthless individual, (90% of the populous) Then why should the remaining few be allowed to ejnoy such revelries? Sorry, sh-ty day at work, and I'm sick of all the unwarranted flaming. Pandrogorific up there is just the latest offender to my senses...

Why AREN'T you impressed? That editing worked perfectly. Good editing is a hell of a lot harder than you think, and he nailed it.

Editing is a lot harder than it seems, You can't just slop some videos together and put music in the background. It takes time to find the right places to cut the video, have the music go along with it, ect.

Thanks for watching the trailer everyone. I appreciate it.

And no, unfortunately it's not my job to make trailers. Any idea where I can sign up for that tinag222? Wink

Editing videos and creating fake trailers is something I just love to do.
