[Question] So is it over? Where to from here?
I'm guesing we are to find what abides in the ARK?

So is this it for the ARG? CF? thingy we have been playing along with for hte last month or so?

where do we go from here?

Is finding the thing that abides in the ARK an allusion to playing Halo3 to get the rest of this story?

I think there's more; specifically in the "pupil" of the eye in the terminal.jpg. (See the terminal thread for details.)

-- Steve thinks the game is still afoot.

Man, I really do hope this isn't over, though I hope they don't do anymore "on site" puzzles *collapses from exhaustion*. They could easily give us a bit more story, I mean the server 5 video is just barely a nibble at what plan the forerunner have for us. let's just hope that we get some more, or as ARGcat would say "MOAR PUZZL TIEM, IT CAN BE PUZZL TIEM NAO PLZ!?

There is more, I'm almost positive. I recall reading an article (can't find it ATM) in which Microsoft stated that the Iris "spiral marketing campaign" would run until September 26th, one day after Halo 3's release (as if ya'll needed to be reminded of that date Razz).

That's not what it says:

Quote:
It's designed to give us more information on how the great conflict all began, as we build up to the climactic conclusion of the series on 26th September.

Conclusion of the Halo series. Keeping in mind that it's Eurogamer, Halo 3 comes out on the 26th in Europe.

So it's all spec whether it's over. I think it is:

Didn't Volmann say he'd be coming back during the next moon cycle? When does that start?

Personally, I don't think it's over, yet. This is quite a lame way to cut things off, even for Microsoft, plus there are many questions left to be answered. I have a feeling this is going to end with some type of event, like ILB.

Plus, why is SOTA still around? I think there's something to them, too.

Today. It's apparently a lunar eclipse today... didn't know that.

-- Steve's thinking that it's far, far too early to call IRIS done.

18th, 28th, same difference!

But I agree! This is far from over! Remember ILB (well, of course you do!)? It went for a decent amount of time... Right up 'till Halo 2!

We have a ways to go.

ILB was also interactive and fun though.

This is interactive (AR) and fun (learning Halos history and finding leads).

There's a fella who made some 'highlights' videos to help people catch up with what they may have missed. Watching those, it seems as though the early parts of IRIS were saying that the keys had to be unlocked before we could get going. It almost seemed like servers were the prelude.

Then again, maybe when the "servers" changed to "Episodes" after there was no action... maybe we took too long and the program had to be changed. Maybe we wouldn't at this point have enough time to finish. Maybe it was edited down. Hmm...?

If we were taking to long, the PM's would give us more clues to speed us up. Besides, several things were found early.
