 		[Puzzle] Lets crack the Slusho flavor code
Quick summary:
Go to http://www.slusho.jp/ and click the 6th link, Flavors. Playing with the sliders increases the flavors size. When you click go they drop into the cup and a flavor is made based on how much and what you selected. This made some people think it was some sort of code to crack, however the sliders are too fiddly and inaccurate for it to be based on amount. Instead it must be the order in which they go into the cup. They go in largest first, followed by 2nd largest etc. Flavors with zero slider don't go in.

So how many combinations are there? Assuming they would use at least 5 flavors in the combination:

6 flavor combo - 720 combos
5 flavor combos - 720 combos

Total: 1440 Combos

To me this sounds very low, almost low enough that someone should have got it by pure luck by now. This leads me to think either it's not a lock, or they haven't added in anything to unlock yet. But perhaps we have just been unlucky so far and someone will get it soon... let's assume it does go somewhere for now.

There's been quite a bit of speculation about whether or not there's something special about chocolate rage. The reason for this is the picture of JJ Abramas waring very similar shirt (see attached) to the slusho flavor page, with chocolate rage highlighted and bigger than the rest. However all 6 silhouettes are not the same as on slusho.jp. One other similarity is that both chocolate rage and the character on JJs shirt have something in (or dripping from) their left hands (on our right).

So does this help us crack the lock? Well if it's true, it probably means one of three things:

1) He goes in first - 120 combos
2) He goes in last - 120 combos
3) He doesn't go in at all - 120 combos

Total: 360 combos

This reduces the number of total possibilities quite a bit. In fact it's almost low enough to brute force. If we could get say get 15 people together, each trying 24 combos then we'd do it in no time.

Or if we could get another piece of information, like which one goes in 2nd or last then it would drastically reduce the possibilities again to around 50 combos total.

Btw, it's late here so maybe someone should check my maths. Razz

 		You sir, need to get aquainted with browsing the front page for a thread about slusho.

Fact of the matter is that the game was decompiled and no secret combination was found.

End of story.

The picture is from disc seven of the first sesaon of Lost.
It's from the bonus feature called "Welcome to Oahu".

Despite the decompilation, I still think it's a combination lock. Perhaps just not activated yet.

The instructions say:
"Add a little or a lot of each flavor to make the best SLUSHO! of all time!!!"

Taken literally, that means we must use each flavor, i.e. ALL flavors.
Also, you must add something, a little or alot, but not 'none'.

Get it right, and it will be something special. It could all be a fun red herring planted by jj, as it has no other function. But if I had to bet five dollars, I'd bet that the flavors screen holds a clue.

It's a flash site, can't really hide stuff in a flash site.

The Hanso foundation had a hidden message but it was an HTML site.

The second "humanity" launched it. I think.

 		Is Slusho.jp down for anyone, or is it up and running? It's 2:09 pm here (East Coast) and the slusho site won't load for me.

 		Works for me. Except now it says "Slusho making fresh improvements. Just for you!!" at the bottom now. Can't remember if it said that before or not.

Can't see anything else different.
