Obviously, no one can be 100% certain (unless they are "in-game"), but there seems to be at least circumstantial evidence supporting our conclusion. You don't really have any, but we're ignorant??!?! Laughing

I am most certainly a whale...

I am so amazed at the number of people who still don't think that the Happy Talk section is fan/player related e-mails. The website specifically asks for YOUR Happy Talk...the quotes coming from the big mouth are nothing but that, perhaps not ALL, but most, the first quotes maybe not, because none of us knew what was going on...but now, for sure. Why would they even have the option to send in your e-mails asking your opinion on a fictional drink???? They are either entire e-mail quotes from fans or are snippets from those e-mails sent in by us. We will see it change many times between now and premier time. Why on earth would this ever even be questioned???
I am sure there are lots of e-mails that are sent in that will be deleted....just like the untold thousands of stupid comments sent in by fans to the characters on MySpace, like "Dude, you're totally gonna die on 1-18-08..." and crap like that. Of course they are not gonna respond, or are not going to include stuff like that on Slusho!....I sincerely hope that none of us have to be told or reminded of these facts (???).
No, nobody talks like "Bloop" or "Am I a whale?" or ANY of those quotes on Slusho!, but people who know how to play along, and become part of the game/marketing of this film do though....I for one, have sent several e-mails to Satoshi...the first ones (before I knew what I know now), were pretty lame....but since I have figured out what is going on I have sent a few, acting like Slusho! is the best product on Earth, and that I too "feel like a whale". Guess what...? I have never even had a Slusho!....I bet it's not even a real drink....I think it's only part of a game/viral marketing/hipe up to the release of a movie...I know it's hard to believe, but there. I have said it.... the sooner some of you catch on to that fact, the more fun it will become for you...Try it!

(The last sentence was spoken in jest, before some of you LITERAL thinkers post 32 replies, trying to convince me that it is indeed not a real drink, and that it is all a game...)

It does add value, because it keeps the players busy. If 1-18-08 had put up a new picture of a stapler, instead of giving us nothing, we'd have something to do and there would be less complaining.

Sorry to stay off-topic... yes TheLostExperienceClues blog is a fan site, but the quote is from the creators of the ARG. After the game wrapped up, they replaced the LetYourCompassGuideYou.com site with a ARG marketing presentation. It was later removed, but you can still see it here: http://www.letyourcompassguideyou.com/lycgy.swf

Operating under the theory they are fan-submitted quotes... can you imagine how many people could have emailed Slusho after the links became publick knowledge? I think IMDb alone is proof enough that people aren't above writing some pretty weird stuff... why is it so unreasonable to believe a unfiction forum member's hasn't shown up yet?

I'd wondered if the quotes were being changed as I didn't recall seeing that one about the whale in the River Thames back when it was first known that Happy Talk had become active. Thanks for posting those, CloverfieldClues.com.

If that is the case, then it may be as simple as someone from this forum not having had a quote up, yet.

Nobody ever said it was fact, people have simply been saying they believe that those are fan submitted quotes.

Wait, just to clear up. The people who think that it's not user-submitted, do you believe that quotes like "Slusho is people" and "are you one of us" are authentic clues to the ARG? Or just that the webmasters created these quotes to make it seem like fans wrote in?

Do you think I haven't been on any other forums or sites regarding this film? I've probably been on everyone there is and I have not seen one person lay claim to having a quote used by Slusho.

ive seen sevral people disscussing how their email is on there i personaly think they take the most used quotes and put um up on happy talk
