Actually, it looks like she's married. This photo looks like she has two rings on - engagement ring AND wedding ring.

I'd say a slip-up like that is pretty unlikely. It strikes me as more likely that what we've got here is something like a plot twist. It's been mentioned before, but I don't think it's really been discussed.
